The Goddess arrives
The Goddess arrived on the physical plane and chose a suitable body to inhabit.
Maybe a little on the short side, but possessing the required hairstyle and devilish powers.
She set of in search of the one she had come for, across the snow and ice of Dun Morogh.
Little did she know that it was unusal for the one she searched for to be present at this time of the day.
He prepared for battle.
Unusually for him he rose early. Not tied down to the normal daily chores, he donned his armor in preparation for a new day.
The call had gone out for soldiers to assist in the landings on the Isle of Conquest. He had limited experience here, but knew that the role of a healer would be appreciated anywhere.
She sensed his presence
Ha! there he was. A long way from the snows of Dun Morogh in the snows of Northrend.
She prepared to channel her message
The Isle was a slaughter house. Squidly was thankful that the ancestral spirits were present to raise him from his grave each time. If it wasn’t the stench of the Horde that laid him low, it was their cutting knives and spells.
For once he was feeling inadequate, a fool for trying to take up where the other warriors were failing.
Then he sensed the tickle sensation at the back of his mind. The gentle, almost pink caress as the voice spoke directly into his mind…
No Warlock could get away with this. Calling upon the ancestors he discovered she was near Ironforge.
The Wizards of Dalaran were happy for him to use their portals so he could reach this taunting Warlock immediately.
On reaching Ironforge he mounted and charged out through the gates, nearly trampling the Gnome under his Ram’s cloven hooves.
She threw down the gauntlet immediately, slapped his face then lept around Squidly.
For a while she cast spells to no effect.
Then she swiped at his shins with her weak blade.
Squidly laughed so loud it rang out across the valleys. He taunted her by healing the minor damage she was inflicting.
Then as one does on those long summer nights at 3am when the constant buzzing of the irritaing mosquito becomes too much, Squidly lashed out with the back of his hand.
Then the laughter of both rang out across the valley.
Time to bring forth the alter-ego
Note to Blizzard: Do not allow trigger happy hyperactive locks to play Gnomes… Squidly couldn’t keep his eyes on this PvP veteran as she jumped around his knee caps!
The time had come for Squidly to call upon his Gnomish Alter-Ego. Gnomeaggedon would die if this opportunity passed him by…
Portal to Ironforge Incoming
Gnomeaggedon quickly ported to Ironforge, mounted his trusty mechanostrider and raced to the IF bridge.
The next words out of his idol’s mouth surprised him, although how he could be surpised by anything that came from the lips of this Goddess he still doesn’t know.
A little confused, or maybe too blonde?
Oomaggedon wasn’t in Kansas any more, she pondered with Toto her pet Penguin whether they were in Texas…
Maybe she had clicked her stilettos too many times.
After all, where else in the world could it be 5.26 pm.
The answer of course was simple, she was in Oz!
Time to click those stilettos one more time
The time had come for Oomaggedon to depart the land of Oz, but not before taking one parting shot…
A lesser Gnome…
A lesser Gnome would have cried.
A lesser Gnome would have slapped that mosquito one more time.
This Gnome was too overcome that one of his greatest, maybe greatest (don’t tell Jong or he will take the keys to the blog away from her) idols would travel all this distance at an ungodly hour of the day just to wish his “alt” congratulations.
Thanks for stopping by Megs!
You complete me… err yeah OK, I guess I am going to far now…
But I will carry you panties in my pocket until the day I delete the character… of course if they aren’t BoP, I might pass them around the clan.
Still it was an honor to have you on Aman’Thul, if only briefly!
Oomaggedon… you are the greatest!
How does Megs make a Gnome look so HOT!
