So the bastard sons and daughters will be acknowledged by their father in patch 3.2.

Now of course for many years now many players have considered twinkers bastards, especially when they enter battlegrounds with their stock standard toons for a bit of fun to break up the leveling grind.

I had a quick look through the patch notes this morning and noted that coming in patch 3.2 is the ability to stop earning XP.

This is awesome news on a whole lot of different levels, so let’s cover some of them.

Pick your bracket and hang there

One of the issues with twinking is unwanted or accidental experience.

Want to join in on holiday events – XP rewards prevent this.

Need to travel somewhere, travel Xp is a danger.

Want a change from the battlegrounds -better use another toon or risk loosing your bracket.

Now you will be able to do more with your twink without risking earning that 1 XP that pushes you out of the bracket.

Less pressure on grinding twink gear.

Likewise, you needed to plan early in your toon’s career to pick up all the best twink gear. Now, you could in theory, level to 19 normally, then stop XP gains while you go run the required instances and quests collecting the gear. As many times as you need to.

Enjoy the rest of the game at your chosen level.

In many ways this isn’t just limited to twinks. Maybe you want to explore all the level 1-19 content without out leveling it. Now you can. In theory you could continue to pick levels that you wanted to stop at and enjoy the view.

More toons available for old world content.

One of the big complaints of anyone that is leveling a new toon is the lack of equivalent level toons around.

Want to run Deadmines… Good luck finding a group! Most people need to grab a friendly high level toon to boost them through.

The change here is that now twinks can run these instances without fear of changing bracket. There are bound to be lots of players that are tired of the level 80 game, and will want to run their twinks through the old content.

Sure, you are still being boosted to some extent. A well geared twink is the equivalent of several levels higher than their toon suggests, but a level 19 twink will still be challenged where a level 80 won’t.

Twink v. Twink

If you turn off the experience point gains, then WoW will consider you to be a Twink…

In future, when you enter the battlegrounds, you will only face off against Twinks…

All the other toons that happen to be at the same level, but want the experience rewards will be facing of against others in the same camp… thus less Twinks to beat you to a pulp. (Less because there may still be some twinks in the BG that have all the twink gear, but can handle a bit more XP.)

It comes at a price.

Of course it comes at a cost, but then anyone that has ever twinked knows you don’t log on without it costing a few gold. To get fully geared it will cost you in excess of 1,000 gold, so what’s 10 gold to prevent accidental levelling and allow you to enjoy so much more of the game?

Cost to Auctioneers
The bigger cost will come to avid auctioneers in the way of lost income. If a twink can stop xp gains at any point, they can now go and grind instances as many times as required to pick up their gear, both BoP and BoE.

There will still be some twinkers that would rather spend the gold than spend the time getting the gear, but I think the market will fall significantly, in part because twinks grinding instances will also make the BoEs more plentiful on the AH.

Alternatively

If you happen to love your battlegrounds, or are maybe a hardcore RPer wanting to level your toon through the war effort as expressed by the battlegrounds, you will now be able to earn XP by completing PvP objectives (not honor kills).

I dare say it will be difficult to level from 1-80 purely via PvP. The early levels in each bracket will be hell for most characters. Still, the possibility remains, and imagine the honor and PvP tokens you would have stashed away through pure PvP leveling.

If nothing else, this is a great opportunity for the x7-x9 characters to take a break from the PvE content, quests and grinding and enjoy a few levels of PvP per decade. Now it won’t mean a complete halt to your leveling.

Best of both worlds!

Hierloom PvP gear

There’s just one more change I think I would like to see.

Aurdon mentioned this morning that Twinking was already legitimized via the heirloom items. I disagree to a point. The heirloom items can be beneficial to twinks, but really they are designed to buff the leveling experience for those raising Alts.

What I would like to see is some heirloom PvP gear.

Kindergarten Gladiator gear

Primary School Gladiator gear

High School Gladiator gear

Something built with PvP in mind, but purchased in the same manner as current heirloom gear.

Mage notes

On a slightly different note, Mages got some patch note “love” too.

Well, if you consider 3 lines love…

Still, I must say I am happy with an uninterruptable Invisibility… just need Evocate to join the club and there will be cheers all round!

Still, it’s way too early to QQ… Way to early…

Ohhh, and Class Q&A Series: Mages by Ghostcrawler that I spotted over at Spooncraft

Remember, get your Blogday gifts to me TODAY… (but I will give you until Sunday 21st… 2 days in total!)

OK, so really there is no update.
The Lock twinking guides have really taken a big back seat for me, and it is unlikley that I will be doing any updates in the near future.

Just so you aren’t left high & dry, here are a few useful links.

A couple from Hydra @ Almost Evil

Twink Changes 3.1

Twink Changes 3.1 More

And a couple from probably the best Twink writer (Drayner) and site around, TwinkInfo

More about Enchant “nerfs”

19 Warlocks, What Build is Best Now?

A couple of related posts from WoWInsider:

Twinking post patch 3.1

On a final note, I did ask a while back if someone wanted to help update my guides… Know your Twinks? Want to write about it? The offer still stands as I wont be getting around to it for a while.

Anyway..

Want to write about it?

There have been thousands of readers through here in the last couple of weeks interested in twinking.

Twinking, as you can tell if you have read any of the rest of my blog, is not my main game, but maybe it’s yours.

So if you think you can write an original post (or more) about twinking Locks (or any class for that matter) at level 19 (or any of the other brackets) then drop me a line via the ContactGnome link above.

I get a pile of Google hits from people looking for twinking guides. Not just level 19 lock guides, but all levels and classes. So far all I have been able to deliver is the partially complete 19 Lock guide.

So if you have a passion for twinking, and would like to turn your hand at writing without the fuss and bother of creating and maintaining your own blog, then drop me a line.

You will receive the same reward for your writing as me, nothing but pleasure at seeing your posts appreciated. You will of course get full credit for your work.

Your posts would need to be well thought out and preferably take the potential twink by the hand, guiding them step by step through the leveling process, identifying the dangers, quests, routes and rewards. Gear, skill, talent and strategy guides for the prospective twink would be a bonus.

Have a think about it, research it if need be, then drop me a line.

Gnomer and Out!

Welcome!

There is a good chance that if you are reading this you aren’t one of my usual daily readers, so a warm 1st time welcome to you.

If you did come just for the level 19 Warlock twink guides then I hope they help you out. Yes they are a little out of date, particularly the gear guide, but in general the they hold true.

I note there have been a couple of correction comments and suggestion comments and for that I can’t thank you enough! Keep them coming, afterall my intention was to gather as much information as possible about twinking a lock in one spot as possible. Your comments make this all the more possible.

In fact I would go one step further. If you think you can fill in some gaps, print make the guide better, then feel free to contact me via the ContactGnome link at the top of this page.

Meanwhile, as you are here, take a look around. I may not have the warm hearth that my Gnomish magely friend Larisa has, or the class of that Frosty foe KrizzlyBear has, but there is heaps of Mage and Gnome content (just for starters) to keep you occupied.

When you run out of content here, feel free to explore my friends in the Wo

W blogsphere from my ReadByGnome page.

So welcome and thanks for coming to all by new and of course old readers!

Thanks also to Dan O’Halloran from WoWInsider for his post that most likely brought you here.

Gnomer and Out!

PS: Based on Larisa’s suggestion, here are my latest Blog achievements:

The one at the top of the post as suggested by Larisa originally.

and for the double Achievement Ding… there was more than 1 post cited!

Twinking your level 19 Warlock: Part 6. Heirloom items

<< Part 5. Twink Spells

I know, I haven’t made any new additions in ages. But then I haven’t had chance to level to 80, let alone either play my baby lock, or review my guides for changes to spells and talents.

Until I get the chance, you folk will just have to work a few things out for yourselves.

BUT, if you have any feedback on the current accuracy of the guides, I would love to hear from you.

The one pressing addition to the guide from my perspective is the “new” Heirloom items.

Quite simply, they are account bound (transferable between your toons on an account) items that scale to the level of the current “owner”.

So great for powerleveled toons. No need to replace gear every level, you just wear it and it will grow with you. Even to the point that it will change it’s type (ie. Leather to Mail, or Mail to Plate) if relevant.

Now I could go through and analysis each piece based on the gear that I brought to your attention in the earlier section of the guide, or I could take the easy way out and point you at a great resource.

Easy is beat for me right now, and better for you so you can see how the gear fits at all levels.

The one thing to note…

Enchants.
This gear takes enchants as if it is level 1 gear. This doesn’t scale. So you may find that other gear + enchants is superior than heirloom items.

Quick Armory is the owner of this Heirloom Items Scale page, so all credit to them!

Happy Twinking!

An Interlude…

Ohhh what day is it… Mmmm Thursday….

What do I post on Thursday… Ohh Warlock Twink stuff….

What didn’t I post this Thursday… Ohh Warlock Twink stuff….

Yeah, well, didn’t get around to the Talents post, although it isn’t far off.

Sit back and smell the brimstone

However, this feels like a nice moment for an interlude, to sit back and smell the fire & brimstone.

I have a question (or two, or…) for all your Warlock Twink guide readers… I know you are out there, in your thousands…

How are they?

Are they answering your questions?

Making the delicate path to 19 and WSG any easier?

Why don’t you talk, errr comment? I think there are more comments from Mages than prospective baby Locks…

That’s OK, doesn’t matter…

However, if you do find your voice, and you have experienced WSG as a Level 19 Lock, share some tips with us.

Even better than a few odd points (and they are more than welcome) would be an entire post on WSG tactics as a Twink Lock.

Bring in the TreeHugger!

I have decided now that I wont actually write that chapter of the guide… best case it will remain a blank page, a testiment to those that read guides yet don’t contribute…

Worst case….. MwwwwuuuuHaaaahhahahahaha, I will get Tree Hugger Dave to write a guide to level 19 Locks in WSG.

I mean you would like that, wouldn’t you… A Resto Druid’s perspective on little Dots rather than big Hots!

Actually, now I think about it, so would I.

OK Dave, we are ready… enlighten us.

Gnomer and Out!

PS: Guess which little Gnome Mage isn’t going to be getting Druid healing love for few weeks….

Twinking your level 19 Warlock: Part 5. Twink Spells

<< Part 4. Enchanting your Twink

In this section I will briefly discuss the “few” spells at the disposal of a young Warlock Twink. If you were to level past 20, there would be many more options available to you, including pets, but if you are reading this, you have decided you want the challenge of limiting your game-given skills and heightening your real-life skills.

I have broken the spells down into 3 groups, Offensive, Defensive/Utility & Pet Summons.

Two notes.

These are the base, untalented spells. The next part of the guide will discuss talents and their effect on the spells you choose to cast.

These spells (and the talents that effect them) may be changing in WoLK. I stick my hand in the air and admit I am not looking towards WoLK at the moment.

Offensive

Fear (Rank 1)

Bread and butter of Dot, Dot, Dot, Fear, Dot, Dot, Dead combat (which some will tell you is cowardly Lock tactics.. stand and fight they say… Run and die you reply)
Needless to say, this isn’t just an offensive spell, it is also defensive.

Applications (beyond the bleedingly obvious)

Flag running – Help your flag carrier by fearing the chasers. You can only fear 1 at a time, but that wont stop you chain fearing multiple targets to give your flag carrier some breathing yards.

Flag Defending – Can’t grab the flag if you are running like a little… ummm… Gnome.

Flag Defending – Can’t run the flag if you are running in the wrong direction.

General defense & offense – Their healers wont heal if they are running, and you can give your healers some breathing space.

Remember this might break on damage, so get ready to run… or Fear again!

Immolate (Rank 2)

Fire Offense, 2 second cast had a dot.
Cast and Fear, Fear and Cast

Curse of Weakness (Rank 2)

Slow down the damage that those melee types are laying about.
Throw this on the target you aren’t focusing on at the moment to help out those who are focusing on it (and help your healers out a bit).
Remember, only 1 curse per target per Warlock

Shadow Bolt (Rank 3)

Your big nuke, 2.8 second cast, which is a long time to be sitting around, but may be worthwhile against that feared opponent

Corruption (Rank 2)

Did someone say “Dot, Dot, Dot, Fear, Dot, Dot, Dead”
Most likely you will be picking up 5/5 Improved Corruption in your talents, so another insta-cast dot.

Curse of Recklessness (Rank 1)

Increases melee attack power – this is OK if the opponent is mindlessly laying into your tank.
Reduces armor – great if they are also getting a bit of melee love from your comrades
Ignore Fear – sounds bad, but maybe you just don’t want them to run too far away.. another Fear in the works?

Drain Life (Rank 1)

Not likely that your opponent is going to sit still and let you drain them right?
Damn shame if they are running around like a headless raptor!
Of course, this might be both good & bad in the heat of battle. Good if you aren’t being focused, bad if someone stops to follow the little squiggly line back to your black heart.

Life Tap (Rank 2)

Too much health, not enough Mana?
I am sure you already know how to use this, I will say no more.

Curse of Agony (Rank 2)

I keep hearing this echo… “Dot, Dot, Dot, Fear, Dot, DOT, Dead”
Probably not so good on the opponent your surprise at 1/2 health, you want the last tick, but it’s another insta-cast death-dot.

Searing Pain (Rank 1)

1.5 second cast… now we are talking PvP timed casts.
Pile up the dots, throw a few of these while on the move, feast.
Remember, this spell causes a high amount of threat

Against PC’s you gained a high amount of threat by joining the battleground.. you are a Lock, therefore you are a target, otherwise threat is irrelevant

Against Pets, different story, they still have threat tables. So may be good for pulling the pet off your pet healer.

Defensive/Utility

Create Healthstone (Rank 1)

Pffft, 100 health for a twink is a last ditch effort, still, 100 health is 100 health
Can be improved with talent Improved Healthstone, this is one of the many decisions I will leave to you.
Warning: Requires Soulshard!
Derrr, tell us something we don’t know… yeah but how do you get more Soul Shards… killing Mobs (and yes PC opponents).
Beware the trap of using all your Soul Shards and grinding more off mobs… you will gain XP, you will soon be a level 20 nobody!
Grab them off BG opponents whenever possible, they are free shards.
So on that basis, I wont cry if you aren’t sharing them around like lollies with your team mates – it would be a good idea for your team, but maybe not for your Soul Shard bank balance.

Demon Skin (Rank 2)

Don’t leave home (or Spirit Healer) without it.
Increased Armour = less damage.
5 health every 5 seconds = survivability, mana, laughing at your opponent’s corpses.

Drain Soul (Rank 1)

You need Soul Shards, and you need them XP free, so use this, but use it wisely.
Once again you will be producing a beautiful rope for your opponents to wrap around your neck. Time it well and it wont be around long enough to see.

Health Funnel (Rank 1)

Feed the Pet blood, your blood unfortunately, but there may be occasions when this is worthwhile.
eg: your pet tanking someone else’s pet (the one you just pulled off the healer), don’t want to loose that Soul Shard due to dead pet? It may be better for you and your pet to die together, and get rez’ed together.

Unending Breath

Not much water in WSG?
No, but there are lots of nasty buff “stealing” opponents around, so lay this one on your team liberally.

Create Soulstone (Rank 1)

There is a time and a place for an insta-in-battle rez.
Generally you will be taking the free health and mana (and pet) load from the spirit healer, but if you are the last thing standing between your nearly dead opponent capping or not, then you better be coming back from the dead, there and then!

Pet

Summon Imp

Really nothing I can tell you about this you don’t already know. Depending on what BG tactics you go with you will either have your Imp or your blueberry out.. just make sure you have one, and at least the Imp doesn’t cost Soul Shards

Summon Voidwalker

See above.

Next time I will delve into a few different talent options, and the effect they will have on your spells and playstyle.

Gnomer and Out!

How to use the Arcanums:

If you’re gonna add these to a twink item follow these instructions:

BoE item

You can run on your main (or get your lvl 55+ friend to do it for you) and do the simple quests.

Night Dragons Breath is BoP, the Badlands soup is BoP, the Black Diamond is BoE! 30g… well.

Hand in the quest, get the Lesser Arcanum and enchant

Send through mail!

BoP item

MUST get another lvl +55 person to do all the quests. (Night’s Dragon Breath is BoP as well as the Badlands Soup quest is non-repeatable and BoP!)

When all the quests are completed, open trade with the lvl 55+ and get him to enchant your BoP item. (legs or head!)

Getting a Lesser Arcanum of Constitution

Must have:

1x Black Diamond (found in BRD or Action House)

1x Libram of Constitution

4x Dragon’s Breath (in Felwood)

1x Lung Juice Cocktail (reward from Blasted Lands quest)

30g

12 Step Guide:

Buy the Libram on Constitution off the AH. It’s not the only way to get one but it’s the easiest.

Buy the Black Diamond off the AH.

Go to Felwood and speak to Arathandris Silversky (54,86) she will give you Cenarion Beacon you do not need to do anything with this item just keep it in you inventory.

Do your specific tradeskill quests, or even easier, do “Salve via Disenchanting” is since there’s two options. It’s 1xLesser Nether Essence (take 2-4 = 2 salves per essence).

With Cenarion Beacon in your inventory go and kill the Jadefire NPCs (43,87, 39,44 or 43,16) they will now drop Corrupted Soul Shards

Once you have 6 Corrupted Soul Shards speak to Arathandris Silversky (54,86) again and you can complete the quest Salve via Hunting (6 shards is for one quest turn in, clear the Jadefire camp a couple times and you’ll get enough for 2 turn ins, you’ll need to do 2 turn ins)

The reward for Salve via Hunting is 2 Cenarion Plant Salves. Use 4 salves to cleanse the plant Corrupted Night Dragon. (1st: 35,60, 2nd: 50,30, 3rd: 40,78, 4th: 42,13 it takes about a half an hour before you can collect again)

Once cleansed Corrupted Night Dragon becomes a Cleansed Night Dragon and clicking on it will give you 3-10 Night Dragon’s Breath this is the 3rd of the 4 items you need for the final turn in.

I am not going into great detail on the 4th item you need for the final turn in because it is easy compared to the 3rd. Travel to the Blasted Lands (Nethergard Keep) and speak to Bloodmage Drazial (50,14)

He will give you the quest A Boar’s Vitality or Spirit of the Boar, they are the same quest. Vitality is the original and Spirit is repeatable. Just kill critters around the area. It’s an easy quest.
The scorpids are right near the entrance with the hyena’s and vultures and the drop rate is fairly high. A little further south near defiler’s rise you can find the basilisks, who also have a fairly high drop rate, along with hellboars or Ashmane Boars, whose drop rates are quite a bit lower (This is what you’ll be grinding on for the longest time). Remember when you’re grinding that the hellboars, basilisks, and felhoudnds all share the same spawn point, so kill everything, it’ll keep the hellboars respawning much quicker! There’s also another variety of boar further east that will drop the blasted boar lungs as well. Once you’ve gathered everything, hope back over to Mathredis and you’re done!

Take the quest reward Lung Juice Cocktail along with the other 3 ingredients to the Burning Steppes and speak to Mathredis Firestar (65,23)

First he’ll give you the quest, Libram of Constitution, and then you can turn it in right away for Lesser Arcanum of Constitution.

Getting an Arcanum of Voracity

For your arcanum of voracity you will need:

1 Libram of Voracity (from AH)

4 Crystal Force from Un’ Goro

Takes 10 Green Power Crystals and 10 Blue Power Crystals at the Eastern Pylon, coords for the Pylon are 77.49

4 Whipper root tuber: (40,85; 34,60; 43,46; 40,19; 50,18; 49,12)
- Requires 3x Cenarion Plant Salves and you will obtain 3-10 from each plant

1 Black Diamond (AH)

And also requires 30g

Gnomer and Out!

OK, this is a list of some of the potential gear that you may either go grinding for, or pick up in your travels while instancing etc.

My recommendation is to not actively grind for the gear… sure you might get lucky, or you might spend many fruitless hours grinding the instances when you could just fork out 5 gold more than you really want to spend on the AH.

Dr. Whitherlimb (Ghostlands)

- Banshee Rod of the Sun (BoE) 34%

There are 4 Ziggurats in which he can spawn. The 2 northern ones around (34,48 ) and (40,49), and the 2 souther Ziggurats inside of Deatholme at (30,87) and (35,87). He has a 2 hour spawn time.

When he spawns, he will spawn in 2 adjacent Zigguarats at the same time. Either the 2 northern ones, or the 2 southern ones. I have one time seen him spawn in all 4 Ziggurats at once.

Getting to Ghostlands as Alliance

Fly to Lights Hope Chapel.

Follow the road north to fork (57,36). Go straight north. If you see on your map that the road is curving to the west a bit, your on the right track. There should be a sign that is labeled Ghostlands at the fork. Take its word for it and head in that direction. When you reach the portal (59,12), take a breather and relax.

Past the portal, follow the road North. He is left of 2nd fork in road (the one that goes left/West)

Gnomer and Out!

<< Twinking your level 19 Warlock: Part 1. Introduction

This part of the guide is about the “path” you character will take to get to level 19. It includes the occasional stop at an instance, as well as some early traveling to allow you to gather flight paths for later quick xp-free traveling.

Levels 1-5:

Do your own thing, explore your starting area etc. Head to Stormwind or Ironforge at level 5/6

Levels 6-10:

Discover all areas that you can, that you may need to journey to later.
Why? Get the discovery XP when it doesn’t matter, you don’t want to tick over to 20 on a new area discovery.
Examples of areas to explore now:
- All instances that you will receive a BoP or do a quest in AND area’s that you will have to walk through to get to that instance.
- Hillsbrad Foothills (Boat from Menethil)
- Auberdine/ Darkshore
- Menethil Harbor

Here is a sample path.
- If starting in Stormwind, take the deeprun tram to Ironforge.
- Leave Ironforge and follow the road east to the end of the zone.
- When it forks near the zone wall, you can go either way, but take the south road so when you get to Loch Modan and start north, you can pause at Thelsamar and get the flight point.
- Go all the way north with the road into Dun Algaz, and then take the road in Wetlands all the way north and then west to Menethil Harbor.
- Get the flight point in Menethil, and then take the boat on the right (North) dock to Auberdine.
- Take boat to Rut’theran Village, get flightpath – Return to Auberdine.
- Run south to Ashenvale, scout BFD, move on to Astranaar.
- Run to Silverwing Refuge
- Run to Rachet (Get flightpoint) via Barrens (scouting WC as you go)
- Take Boat from Rachet to Booty Bay – Get flight point.
- Run north and explore Gromgol & Gurubashi

or
- Instead of following the road up from Thelsamar, run through the town and follow the shore line of the Loch instead, at the Stonewrought Dam you want to be about central and throw yourself off.
You’ll die, but unlike dying at the hands of the orcs you’ll pop up in the Wetlands graveyard instead of the Loch Modan one. Res at the healer, hang about in the safty of the graveyard until your Res effects have worn off and head west along to the harbour.

or After Deadmines (Alternative to above):
- Explore the Entire STV coast line (important if you intend to fish for the best hat & boots.
- Booty Bay and Gromgol (Gromgol is only important if you intend to get the trinket – which is pretty unlikely)
- The Gurubashi Arena (It’s a good idea to get the 550 trinket exp out of the way if you can/ can be bothered)
- Ashenvale. Visit Silverwing Refuge, then wander along the road until you reach Astranaar. Grab the flight path here, then get on the boat to Ru’theran Village. Obtain the flight path there as well.

Level 10: Deadmines & Wailing Caverns

GET ALL BOP BOSS DROPS NOW, don’t just assume that things will drop within the first 12 runs.

- Immediately after you become level 10, do The Deadmines.

The objective is to get An Unsent Letter off Edwin VanCleef, the last boss of the instance.

- After you have done The Deadmines and obtained An Unsent Letter, have your boosting buddy bring you to Booty Bay.
- You can do that directly from the Deadmines back exit, which is actually the best method, since you’ll discover all the beach zones in Stranglethorn Vale this way. Just keep going south on the beach until you reach Booty Bay. Don’t forget to grab the flight path there as well.

- Take the boat to Ratchet and get the flight path there.
- Have your booster drag you through Wailing Caverns, you objective being Glowing Shard off Mutanus the Devourer.

Do your own thing until Level 15.

Level 15:

Talbar Mantle Questline – Rachet -> WC -> Darnassus
Do the quest lines for any of the following items if you need them:
Talbar Mantle: Quest: The Glowing Shard Requires level 15. - Use the Nightmare Shard to start the quest “In Nightmares”.
- Go to Ratchet and talk to Sputtervalve <Tinker’s Union>, who stands near the flight master. He won’t have a question mark over his head, just talk to him and ask for the shard.
- He will send you to Falla Sagewind, a tauren lady standing on top of the mountain Wailing Caverns is located in.
- She will direct you to Darnassus, where you have to complete the quest at Mathrengyl Bearwalker, a druid trainer in Cenarion Enclave.
- He stands in the house with the Arch Druid, first floor. From the quest rewards, choose Talbar Mantle.

Level 16: Stormwind & Stockade.

Do the quest lines for any of the following items if you need them: Seal of Wrynn]
- Once you hit 16, it’s time to activate the quest starting from An Unsent Letter you got from Edwin VanCleef. You will again need a high level booster for these tasks.
- You should be on the quest “The Unsent Letter”, which you’ll hand in at Baros Alexston in Stormwind, Cathedral Square.
- The next step leads you to The Stockades, where you hand in at Warden Thelwater.
- He will send you into the dungeon to retrieve Bazil Thredd‘s head, so get your high-level booster and do it.
- The fastest way is to clear out the main hallway and adjacent rooms, then head right and clear the way to the cell behind the ogre, where Bazil Thredd resides.
- Loot the head and get out to hand in at Warden Thelwater.

The next steps consist of running a lot of errant jobs in Stormwind:
