This is a post about men’s health.

Actually it’s a post about health, where the primary target is men, but:

  1. It’s just as applicable for some women, and
  2. It will require the presence of a significant other (or others) as you go along.

So maybe this is the time for you to grab the ones you love, to read along with you and witness (or provide) the men’s oath of health (more…)

Seriously, they have to die… FIRST!

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…

Magma Totems Must Die!

That is assuming they are at a flag in a capture the node game such as Arathi Basin or Battle for Gilneas.

They are close to the best node defense item in the game (more…)

Bring out your dead…

I don’t know when the last time was I looked at my blogroll.

To be honest, I don’t know when the 1st time was that I did a cleanse, maybe today was the 1st time, whatever the case it was a little soul destroying.

My mother was 87 when she died. There were times when the subject of her friends would come up, often in relation to her moving somewhere more manageable, maybe closer to her friends.

It was times like these that her eyes would gloss over, the tears welling in her eyes.

Her friends of course were gone.  The world moves on, time passes, lives end and of course, relative to this post, blogs stop.

Often they just stop.

One of the hard parts about cleansing the blogroll was checking each blog.

There were a couple of bloggers that appeared to have just stopped on their “best post”. They are posts I remember well, even years down the track, posts I a confident received links from WoWInsider, they were just that good.

But… that was it… stopped… gone… but yet, still on my blog roll.

Bring Out Your Dead.

I wouldn’t have looked at the blogroll for a while to come if it wasn’t for Daraiste asking me the other day.

What will happen when you stop blogging… will your posts still be there?

I wasn’t sure what she meant and when I pressed her she responded with.. (more…)

So Cynwise & I have covered how to Ninja a node, now is the time to introduce, or refresh you in the A.B.C.’s of guarding a node

We all know our A.B.C.’s right…

They are…

A… B… C… blah, blah, blah… Next time won’t you sing with me?

Sorry I’ve been hearing that a lot over the last few years and I tend to zone out after C… I am going to assume you will do the same.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

A is for AoE

I can’t remember if I mentioned AOE in my Ninja post, well without the prerequisite expletive attached, not only in my blog posts, but also in BG chat.

AoE’s serve two purposes, both with the same end – to protect the flag (more…)

Mmmm.. I smell a Mage Ninja opportunity...

Cynwise taught you the basics of being a flag ninja.

Am I that far behind... really?

On a side note… I looked at my feed reader and there are 117 posts for Cynwise. I’m hoping this is a result of blog consolidation and not my slackness… although there is no question I am way behind.

Anyway, back on topic, after he posted, we discussed on Twitter how easy it is to fall into the “grand scheme” strategy of BGs and miss the smaller tactical details.

So if he can take it down to the detail of being a Flag Ninja, I can take it down one step further (I’m a Gnome, it doesn’t go down much more than that), to being a Flag Ninja: Mage Style.

This post is also for non-Mages, you need to understand your enemies intent (more…)

  1. 1 + 1 = 2
  2. 2 + 2 = 4
  3. 3 + 4 = 7
  4. 6 + 7 = 13
  5. 19 + 3 = 22
  6. 5 + 3 = 11

Do me a favor & check over my maths please, we’ll come back to this, so remember your 1st impression.

This is a post about many things, arguably everything, but I guess I will make a feeble attempt to relate it to topics this blog has covered in the past (more…)

A note for Bill Hick’s fans, this isn’t a post about Bill may he R.I.P. (or rant and rail as he sees fit).

Klep (and others for that matter) questioned my tone the other day and my reply was that I wrote in my voice. I knew what I meant but was grasping for ways to illustrate my point.

That was until Monday while listening to a 2 hour long Joe Rogan Experience podcast when the subject of Bill Hicks came up.

Taking a dump

For those of you unaware of Bill Hicks he was a comedian from the U.S. bible belt with decidedly un-bible belt material.

One of the things they touched on in the podcast was Bill’s ability to clear the audience from a room (more…)

96% Spam, 4% Ham

or alternatively…

It’s my party and I’ll write if I want to…

So apparently these days it’s inappropriate to celebrate achievements

No Battlemaster!

Don’t celebrate Battlemaster because a lot of people don’t PvP, which is unfair on them and might discourage them from entering the Battlegrounds. Hell, even those that do love Battlegrounds might get discouraged when you provide them with a role model and encouragement (more…)
