Items that level up with you are outstanding, but add in that they’re usually more powerful than most like leveled gear, and they’re over the top.

With that said, though, I make sure to get heirlooms for my baby PvPers whenever I can. I have little ones on three different servers, so not all of them are fully heirloomed out.

With my old twitter account I used to go back and read that full stream – but now days I tend to just check on what is happening now. It’s kind of refreshing to work that way… plus I have a lot less to read (although I’m probably missing out on a lot more too!)

I’ve been looking at doing some twinking – it’s interesting to see that heirlooms are not always best (and particularly not at 70). Although I was getting annoyed at the gear listing for rogues at 70 (over on twinkinfo.com) and getting annoyed.. .because they listed the warglaives and only the warglaives for weapons…

Anyway this sparked me to write a quick blog post:
