I interrupt my irregular post schedule to let you all know something…
It’s something I have been meaning to say for ages, but I never knew how to approach the topic.
I have been blessed today, as one of the 25% of my regular commenter demographic (spammers) has dropped by to just say it out loud.
Disclaimer: The opinions of this commenter in no way reflects the opinion of this blog author towards my other 75% of my readers.
It does pretty much reflect my opinion of the other cohabitants of my spam comment folder.
Pffft come here, insult my commenter and expect me to approve your comment?
I guess I have for worse reasons…
I bet they got paid better money for writing that comment than I do for writing posts.

Adjust their pool water is asking for trouble, not only from heaters, but from pumps, cleaners and even pool ladders. corrosion is the main problem in a pool and the chemical balance of the water is essential. some pool heaters are not recommended for use in saltwater pools. Thanks for share.

I tried Life Without Akismet™ once… once. *shudders* Who knew posting almost-a-real-comment spam was such a lucrative business! :p
And oh yes– buy WoW Gold! or, wait, erm Travelocity Wants You! or… darnit, I’m not good at this. >.<;;
ConsiderIng Akismet has protected me from 126,525 spam (of which I have had to actually verify maybe a couple of hundred over 4 years), im very glad i have it. I assume that accounts for about 25% of my sites all time traffic.
A couple of years before I started WoW blogging I started a WordPress blog, just to see what it was about. Even with Akismet at that time, I was discouraged due to the volume of rubbish I had to deal with.
