Gnomeadeaden has completed his tour of duty and returned to Stormwind.
Well, realistically he was never in Stormwind, but whatever, he’s back!
But things have changed… apparently there was a dragon…
Apparently there was a harbour at one point as well...
Without water the harbour looks kind of…. ummm… deep.
Wouldn’t want to fall down there without some water to break my fall.
Of course, I could just change my graphics settings… I think it’s fair to say Direct 11 isn’t working for me.
I was going to run some instances as soon as I hit 80 on Gnomeadeaden, but apparently that’s a lost cause.
Sure I can get to level 80 in iLevel 137 gear, but I can’t join the party!
Only the best dressed can attend I guess… which really leaves me with only one option… PUB!
Ahh well, I guess it’s off to the Maelstrom for deadGnome
Flying on Paladin’s wings
Gnomeaggedon meanwhile has been feeding on the Horde in WSG and a bit of Arena on the side.
Most of the Arena issues now seem resolved, at least I am not being 2-shot constantly and we are back on the win.
I’ve had a couple of fun WSG’s.
At one point, just as a game was closing one of the players asked.
How do you kill a f%^&ing Pally?
My response was:
slow em down, strip em down (spell steal), take their wings, and hand their arses to them on a platter.
Seriously, spellsteal a Paladin’s wings and they run like the big blood elves they are (generally, they could be cows, but…). You don’t even have to touch them, remove their safety blanket (wings) and they run away crying… well, they die, but they try to run.
Kind of reminds me of a story my favorite Pally once told us what he did when a Mage stole his wings.
Own Goal
Another WSG was pure Alliance pwnage.
I think we had already capped two flags before the gate opened, it was all happening so fast.
Our flag carrier had reached our tunnel for the 3rd time when he asked if people wanted to farm. he got one positive response, so farm it was.
I don’t know what was going through the druid’s mind when he entered our flag room, it could have been either:
Kill the flag carrier, return the flag
or
Let’s get this embarrassment over with!
Whatever the case, he scored an own-goal when he Typhooned our flag carrier right on top of our flag.
Touch down!
Game Over!
Gnomer(s) and Out!
