In case you have missed my previous posts and BBB’s previous posts on this, it’s another charity event inspired by real life events, similar to last years Raid for a Cure, but this year the targets of our support is the fight against heart disease as BBB puts it here, and latest details on the event here (or just click on any of the screenshots above).
What’s it for?
The main purpose of this event is to get together with folks of good heart to have a little fun in-game. It’s all about silly, light-hearted fun, and is intended to provide an opportunity for celebrating and remembering the lives of those we loved and still miss that have been taken from us by heart disease. We also hope to heighten awareness of the risks of heart disease, and maybe even raise a little money for the fight against heart disease somewhere along the way. You know, sneak in a little support for a good cause when you’re not looking.
Wait! Don’t flee just yet, it may sound boring, but really, it’s all about having fun!
Here’s the plan.
On Saturday, October 16th, around 12:15 PM, Kael’thas-US World of Warcraft server time, folks should begin gathering for the event at the starting areas to prepare for a competitive race!
Those For the Horde will gather together at Stillwhisper Pond, just outside the gates of Silvermoon City.
The Alliance will gather together in the picturesque village of Goldshire, in Elwynn Forest outside Stormwind City.
