OMG what do you take into the Portal of Time: Destination the near future?
Does my hair look OK, do I need a trip to the barber?
Do I need to pack rations… Ohh of course not, I can conjure them.
Do I need gold, bandages, mats, strong alcoholic drinks?
Is there inflight entertainment, or do I need to pack a tome?
Can I take Squidly as well? (don’t want to leave him behind to take all the glory).
Whatever happens, 1st destination must be Gnomeregan. I need to make sure that my statue is coming along fine… I look fat in stone!

My tips:
The character copy seems to be a bit flaky at the moment, so be prepared to set your first steps in cataclysm on a freshly rolled character. You will be able to copy up to 5 of your own characters and up to 5 premades. Theoretically the counter for those copies should be reset under some vague conditions, but better don’t count on that ever happening.
Oh, make sure to bring empty bags for any lowlevel characters you plan to roll – the economy and the AH is pretty much disfunctional (and the AH is buggy), so don’t expect to be able to buy any bags…
Mage food currently cannot be used in Vashj’ir, but other foods can, so think again about those rations

I have a ton of bags I have been stockpiling for release… Never thought about taking them.
I only have two 80′s so the rest are going to be newbies or premades.

I have just rolled on Lost Isles… BigBeerGut, the Dwarf Shaman and Ohmylarisa, the Gnome Mage.
Things are looking a bit messy in the Gnome starting zone and I’m afraid Ohmylarisa has already caught something that might have nasty side effects. If she wasn’t named after Larisa, Id be tempted to let it run it’s course (but then she doesn’t really look like Larisa…).
When Gnome and Squidly get there, Gnomer will definitely be running with Fire… but apparently that is 5 days away… did PTR open today?
Gazz is already showing the FireFolks the ropes… with his Firedancing.
I am apparently the last person on earth who is not in the beta yet?
