lol are you volunteering for captain? Are you serious? I smell a trap!

No I am just nominating you as one of the all-star blogger raid members.

Arguably it could be brought together in a couple of weeks... people willing and schedules allowing.

Being bloggers would probably have an adverse effect... let's face it, we all know better than the next blogger... well I certainly do.

Your ability to write good blog posts says nothing about your quality as a raider.

Damn you caught me out... though I would suggest that I am as good a blogger as I am raider... which is patchy at best, but I have a great time doing it.

But yes time would be the issue, and may make it impractical. It's possible that people could wrangle a leave pass for a Friday and Saturday night and make it happen.

I could be the orange-boy here in Oz for the the US raiders.. as I will be eating lunch while they destroy bosses.

Ultimately, I don't mind if it happens... though I am interested to know who people think should be in the team.

As you say, does our ability to write about WoW entitle use to a spot in the raid. Is it all about technical skill and execution, or would the raid need a couple of clowns along to help make the event worthwhile as a social experience?

Afterall, I am probably the last blogger standing that still advertises in trade chat:

/2 LFFailgroup that wont stay together past Morrowgar loot raidquits, or at the very least knows how to stand in the goo. KS need not respond.

Hehe... making me a captain? Are you serious? I smell a trap.

I can agree that it sounds like a fun one-time-only-event to team up with some EU bloggers to test ourselves as a 25 man raiding team. How quickly could we make it work? Does the fact that the blogging bring us together have any impact on our performance as a team in game? I'm honestly not so sure it does. Your ability to write good blog posts says nothing about your quality as a raider.

An issue for me is the available time. However fun an entire weekend of WoW playing sounds, I doubt that my family would share the enthusiasm.

PvP Fantasy Battlegrounds.

Nothing against raids, but BGs fit the fantasy sports thing slightly better.

Now to write a stat tracking addon for important PvP stats.
