The remote auction effects the game, but in such a small and insignificant way. Using all of our beloved Auctionhouse addons is far superior than what an Iphone app is capable of.

In regards to sparkle pony, it is overpowered. I mean, it sparkles.

I believe you have to contact Blizz’s billing department to get it removed – they may require you to fax them some form of identification or something similar, I’m not sure.

I have no personal experience with it, but I understand is the 1st step is using the special URL that is sent to you via email when you set up the parental controls.

I put parental controls on myself to opt out of real id, but now that I found out I can’t get in to the beta because of it, I want to remove them. I logged in to the parental contols section on the site, but I couldn’t find a way to remoe them. Anyone have some advice for me?

I hope they won’t introduce ads until WoW become f2p, which I fuss it will be near it’s end of life… Or the release of the next gen MMO.

The question is whether we will still be playing at that point if RealID pushes the wrong buttons

The Sparkle Pony (and the Rocket Mount) are not 310% speed mounts. I’m unaware of one that you can purchase through the TCG either. They will serve as 310% speed mounts if you’ve obtained an appropriate speed mount in game. No different than druid flight form scaling to 310% if you have a Rusted Proto Drake, ICC mount, Arena Mount, Long Strange Trip, etc.

I won’t argue about the remote AH, simply because I don’t AH enough to comment if it provides an advantage or not (I suppose you could argue that it does, though without the addons most AHers use I don’t see it being that amazing).

Regardless, the Sparkle Pony does not convey an in game advantage for money.

I agree. The parental settings are not the correct option. I should not have to designate myself as a child for my privacy to be considered important. Especially by a company I am giving money to!

The last straw for me will be the in-game ads. I’m not paying for advertisers to sell to me.
