My 3′s team got together tonight for a bit of fun, but unfortunately one of the member’s children was afflicted by some Warlock dot (must have been a Lock, cause the poor kid wasn’t happy), so he dropped out (at our insistence… Arenas < Life). Which left Deadypriest (yes Deady.. not Deadly.. one of those typos that stuck, but gets confusing because there is someone on our server not afflicted with typo-syndrome) to do some 2′s.
So Deady and I started to fill some time… it was going nice, though there was one combo that we really stuffed up.. we knew what we should be doing, we said it out loud (yes both of us), but do you think we could get our fingers to do our bidding?

I dare say that their frown was growing as long as our grin grew wide each time the teams were revealed. To their credit, they never gave up. They even took Deady out one game leaving me against the two of them.. for about another 10 seconds. From memory that was the game that gave us the Hot Streak!, as Deady cursed over vent and I cackled because I knew they were this week’s Mage food.
I can’t see the matches played this week yet, but I think we took the Hunter/Lock team down bout 6 times… so just in case there is any remaining question.

Sarth 2D
Not that I am suggesting I haven’t had my fair share of Gnome of a platter situations this week.
My mate’s guild invited me along to Sarth 3D (Hi Guys!, I know some of you read this & I love that you drag me along.. actually best bunch of guys (and girls) I have played with in a long time).
I’m not sure why they call it Sarth3d though.. it was all very 2D to me.. face down in the lava, attempt after attempt.

Easy Heroics
I screwed up on Squidly.
I dressed him in his Sunday best gear and joined LFD.
We wiped and wiped and wiped and wiped and then I realised my mistake.
Squidly doesn’t fish!
Gnomeaggedon fishes and complains about the crappy heroics he gets into (like it really matters.. it’s just for shards and Frosties), but then he destroys his Gear Score every time he queues by killing time fishing. Yeah, good one Blizzard…. no I mean it, good one. Sure the LFD decides based on GS, and fishing screws my gearscore, but why would I want to improve it when even I can tank a boss in the low level heroics?
So Squidly is going to take up fishing, just so he can DPS in Resto spec.

I have spent a lot of time doing my No. 1 hated profession lately. Don’t ask me what has changed.. maybe it’s all the dead time waiting for heroics… maybe it’s the joy I am getting out of watching trade chat…

I might play on a PvE server, but I love my PvP.
I love leading the charge in SotA
I’m not a female, but I am happy to be the prowhead. (thank god that boat moves faster than I can jump!)
I love coming out without even a scratch
However lately, I am taking it to extremes.
You see, for some reason, I can’t shake the PvP flag.. not in friendly cities, not when I specifically turn PvP off, not ever!
Which is kinda OK, cause I am used to being ganked after leaving a BG and returning to the real world only to have some foolish Hunter or Lock take a pot shot, but then I am also used to jumping on an taxi, going AFK and returning to my whole, healthy body.
I keep checking my Outfitter settings, but there is nothing there that is making me PvP jut because I have a fishing rod equipped.. so I don’t know why Blizzard is making me Lock bait.
If you know, let me know.
I don’t mind killing the Locks, but I do mind them getting a 5 minute head start.
If you have any ideas… let me know.. until then…

Thanks to Cynwise and Jezriyah for their suggestions on my PvP flagging issues.. but the Orc with the correct answer (ironic as he is the target of the offending quest) is Rades.
Of course, once you have a World PvP quest in your log, you are always flagged for PvP.
I’m not sure what to do now. I suspect it was shared with me in Wintergrasp – it looks just like a Wintergrasp quest. I think in future rather than sharing Cluck!, I might share No Mercy! I’m sure there are lots of people out there that want to be flagged PvP 24/7… No?

The Number in Satharion xD stipulates how many of the Dragon Minibosses you leave alive, thus making the Encounter a wee bit trickier.
Oh yes, I know how it’s meant to work. I just intended to be standing (3D) at the end of the encounter rather that flat on my face (2D) at the end of the fight.

I didn’t know about that world PvP quest, but I know there’s one other thing that will “maintain” PvP flagging: portals & hearths. Doing wither while flagged will renew your flag, as will logging off.
Taking a flight path will (usually) remove it.
I’ve never heard of that quest before, so I may have to investigate.
the only 25-man sarth +3D run i’ve been on, i was clearly in over my head… lowest DPS on the totem pole, for sure. anyway, someone pulled the drakes, and while they were gathering them, we DPS’d sarth and just kept alive. by the time they got all three drakes and they were back to where we were, sarth was almost down. once he went down, my buddy who invited me wsp’d me and said “RUN!!!”
everyone was bolting for the door and we all wiped in pretty swift fashion, but we didn’t care, because we all got the “twilight vanquisher” title anyway. “LOL – that always happens!” my buddy told me. lmao
one tip that has helped me ENORMOUSLY to avoid the lava waves during sarth fights is to use the “max camera distance” (/console cameraDistanceMax 50) — this helps me to see the waves and where the holes are in time to get to a safe spot.
