Armaggedon's coming!

I’m a pretty tuff nut for a short green-haired fireball wielding Gnome Mage.

Some people Min/Max, others play their game.

More often than not, when you see the hunter rush into melee you think to yourself

Noob… Ohh no he has geared and gemmed for Stamina and Strength too!

I have a mate that maxed out his 50 character limit so that he could experience all sorts of roles without being limited by a class tag.

It didn’t really matter if the combination he came up with neither made sense, nor was effective, what mattered was that he got to experience and roleplay the game the way he wanted.

With the Cataclysmic changes coming to weapon skills, I took the time (TIME… so much time!) to finish leveling my 4 (including unarmed… 2 achievements for the price of one!).

It was kind of fun… kind of.  I mean duking it out with one mob for 15 minutes is fun right?

I am happy to say that those 15 minute fights are now back to 2 global cooldowns.  While 15 minutes per quest mob while waiting for a BG to pop isn’t too bad, it was still eating up a good amount of time that could have been spent on… well, just about anything.

Now it’s done, I can trade in my 4 damage punches for 4,000 damage fireblasts.

I think it’s fair to say that Gnomeaggedon (Snr) is not a melee Mage.. but maybe Gnomeaggedon (Jnr… SAN:US), might try to turn his back on the arcane and lay down a few 1 damage punches.

Whatever the case, don’t mess with this ancient protector.. with or without spells I will bloody your nose.

Speaking of skills

Am I the only one that treated these Netherstorm bubble support thingies as flight tests?

It never mattered if I was in a hurry, I had to fly around to them to see if I could jump the Gnome through the hoop.

They made me think of airlocks, I just had to… err still have to… enter and exit via these things.

I always wanted to roll a Shadow Mage

and now, if only for a brief time, I have had one.

Speaking of Spellsteal

Some Battlegrounds my primary nuke is spellsteal.  I actually managed to kill a TreeDruid the other day, while holding off his mates, using Spellsteal.

• I gave him bad things…
• He gave himself good things…
• I stole good things and gave him more bad things…
• His friend’s hurt me
• He healed me

Nice TreeDruid!

There are just some fights in the battlegrounds where you are better off letting you mates dish out the hurt, while you steal the goodies.
