I got it, but I can’t use it… well I can, but my PvP setup is somewhat different to my PvE setup and the things just aren’t where my muscle memory knows they are, and it makes me cry a little…
Ixo isn’t the only one helping me out though… there is Nibuca, Hydra, (too many Locks?) how about Kyrilean, and this guy that has to know what he’s talking about because he introduces us to his Gnome! (Sorry last one is another vid.. yeah he has a series of vids on setting up and using the keyboard…)
Ok.. well if it weighs as much as a duck, floats like a duck and burns like wood it might not be a bad DPS… maybe just a DPS with muscle memory issues… OK?

Poor Rip… well poor all of us right now I think. I can assure you this crazy “lag fluctuation” is happening on this side of the world too. I conjured some food the other day.. some time later (a day or two maybe?) when I was at the bank the news floated across my screen to tell me I have just gained it…
I wouldn’t let it force you to give up raiding.. just do as the Aussies do in raids and BGs.. flail around mindlessly, tab targeting, firing, and evocating every now at then.. you are bound to hit something. (And just think.. no AoE effect lag… BONUS!).

The n52 is a pretty fantastic little gadget; Nibuca talked me into ordering one and I pretty much can’t play without it, these days. Keep at it!
I love it. The biggest problem I am having is realizing which abilities I use constantly, without thought and fighting for bindings for those that I need instantly… Which means the keybindings are still in a state of flux…
Then I respec for an instance and my muscle memory blinks me in to packs of mobs when I meant to iceblock etc…
But I am obviously coming to terms with it… I breath a huge sigh of releif every time I spec back to PvP… My fingers know what to do then (most of the time)
I’m having a hard time with my warrior right now. There’s not enough buttons on this thing…

The Righteous Orbs thing had me going “wow” too, but I’m mostly glad he’s decided to go for peace of mind.
The way he writes what he thinks, with candor, is very refreshing. I like it, and I’m glad he’s getting some personal space back.

My sphinchter (spelling wasn’t corrected but it’s bound to be wrong) was straining as I read through his post… I had to reread a few times before it sunk in that he had chosen /gquit over /blogquit… I was worried!
Writers like Tam are rare, every post grabs you by the balls and leaves you scrambling like Jong after an interview.
If he had left the post hanging, “Who shot J.R.?” would have paled into insignificance… I would have been tracking him down through every net resource I could figure out.
I wouldn’t care if there was an NDA on his decision, I’d be posting it on wow.com, making YouTube videos, charging for exclusive interviews in WoWPeople mags…
But I’m glad he has gone with freedom of expression… I would have settled for Jong-style pulled posts with censored versions subsequently released, but you just shouldn’t, can’t, curb brilliance!

Now, I know many folks are a little freaked out by gnomes. I admit they give me the heebie jeebies, but I would never go so far as to call them all “revolting”.

i rather enjoy being a gnome. its the only race that can look up the other races skirts with out getting caught.
