Ha ha that's a great idea. Never thought of it that way. Still, in a way we do have access to 71 x 2 talents today by way of Dual Spec.

At first I'm still looking forward to 5 more points. Especially for tanking. Then I noticed that they might not even be enough to make a proper template - something that has all I want in my tanking specs. I'll probably need those 91 talent points to finish a talent spec without having to compromise.

Is that what a hero class is like? A perfect cookie cutter that everyone will have to adopt that leaves no room for improvisation any more?

On the other hand I am slightly worried. With 91 talent points it will finally be impossible to mock 0/0/71 unholy death knights. They will have to spend 20 points somewhere else. And that makes me wonder if we'll finally have tank/healer paladins and druids - who somehow manage to combine all that is good and shiny about bear and tree into one single spec.

I think I need a cup of tea now. And a pickup group later to restore my faith.
