In the words that form the name of a Guild on Aman’Thul… BEERBEER! (Mr. Z! was tempted to join them the other day.. Guild names carry a lot of weight in recruitment folks!)
I read the Twitters…
I stated that it sounded more like Fail of the Lich King, than Fall of the Lich King.
My friend came around and I had a moment or two of dilemma…
WoW… Pub… WoW… Pub… WoW...
Who am I kidding… 1 hour of screwing around with WoW or 2 hours at the pub…
GIVE ME THE PUB!
Yeah, OK, this is about as in-depth an analysis of 3.3 as I gave of Blizzcon. The thing is I didn’t make it to either.
3.3 can wait till tomorrow…
Blizzcon… well if the folk at Blizzard have been as well fed as I hoped (and suggested), then maybe the freebie (all inclusive round trip, accommodation, Disneyland etc…) ticket is already in the mail… a bar tab would be a bonus guys!
If not 3.3 then what?
Well, I can start with a little 3.3 stuff….
Mage Summary…
Euripedes does it as well, if not better than anyone else with his Your Patch 3.3 Survival Guide.
Let”s face it, if he can survive a Blizzard (no.. not the 3.3 variety, but well timed never-the-less), then this guy knows Blizzard Survival (yes, yes, of the 3.3 variety)
Shaman Summary
Drug sounds like a name I can relate too… His Twitter handle (is that a bit 70′s?) drugfreeyth would under any other circumstances make me stand back a little…
But… but… but…
I am beginning to think (happy to be corrected) that if there is one reluctant point of call for all things Resto Shaman, then Drug (and his blog Shields Up!) is the man! Check out his 3.3 live tomorrow post for the hot stuff (yes, yes, that was yesterday… maybe even the day before by now).
Now that’s out of the way…
A couple of shout-outs…
1 Magely…
I love to spread the word about Magely goodness… and as apparently I am one of the inspirations, it’s only fair I give a little back… please give the Magic Strudel a shock to the WordPress stats page by visiting and declaring your undying love for the blog… Hell, if 99% of Jong’s followers are Mages, it can’t hurt for you to go say hello and gain a follower of your own.
Ohh and a tip to aspiring Mage bloggers… don’t link to my site on your 1st post.. link on the 1st post, that’s OK. but link to a post of mine to gain a pingback… that will wake me up.
I’m too busy reading my fan mail from Syrana and Megan to notice general links… it’s hard to tear me away from the heavy metal perfume of Syrana’s (Sideshow must be a very patient man…) and the JD perfume of Megan’s envelopes….
Of course this is just cheeky… but I approve of your methods for grabbing my attention!
1 not so Magely…
Apart from the frequent comments SlikRX/Balthazario leaves on my blog, I have been having an awesome behind the scenes email conversation…
If you want to know where the inspiration for those Min/Maxing gear before 80 part 1, 2 & 3 posts came from, then SlikRX (and his bound-to-be-lovely wife – she must be, she plays a Resto Shaman!) are the source.
He’s only done 70 or so posts… 70 OR SO POSTS! That’s more than most people do in their entire blogging life time… here’s the thing.. when he gets stuck for a title, he goes for song titles… so… go now, look through his “back catalog”, and call him out on all the songs!
(He’ll probably hate me for that.. but… well… I am a cheeky/silly Gnome that has been at the Pub for longer than suggested previously)
How could you miss it?
One day Jong gives Megan the key’s to his “house”, the next day she has drunk the JD dry can can’t find Australia on a map!
Apples my arse!
Don’t know how she will go if she ever comes to Australia…
Hey Gnomer, I just turned left at Camberwell and I am on this long straight road that goes for 3,000 km through the Nullarbor.. I saw a big red rock on the right, but I have run out of JD and can’t find my way back…
Anyway, I managed to get my Crapographer ™ working long enough after 3.3 to grab a screenshot of where Megan needs to get to, to get that Guild (note the capitalization… understand, this is THE Guild) invite.
If you click on the picture you will get a better idea where I play…
Degenerating into my deep dark past…
TURN IT UP NOW… this stuff sounds terrible on low, even medium volume… NO it’s not safe for work.. it’s not safe for St Kilda night clubs at 3am in the morning… you have been warned…
- Volume too low – terrible music, but job safe…
- Volume too high: awesome music, but you need to find a new job… and a doctor to fix your hearing…
Right… so to finish this all off… in the way of Megan, some you tube videos…
1st one if just for Megan… She’s a Lost Cause… by Cosmic Psychos
Next one is for Syrana, who I am sure harbors a little something for David lee-Roth, also by Cosmic Psychos
The last one is for me.. I wanted to end on Pub by Cosmic Psychos.. but it has disappeared off youtube (ohh there is one of the jam from it.. but not the all important lyrics… PUB!), so instead you get Back In Town!

Thanks for the link love Gnomey
You are by far my favorite person under 2.5 feet.
I should hope so
The real thing to do now is this: figure out what percentage of your readers actually read your posts by finding how many follow the link to my blog =)
I’ve got 6 so far, thanks!
Whoa… your side bar says 225,489 fireballs… that’s not really your hit count is it?? I am in awe at the epicness of the Gnome.
A tiny percentage will go where directed, but more will follow.
The 200k was just yesterday… Not!
About 190k came looking for useful patch information never to return… But at least I have Syranna!
*spritzes on more heavy metal perfume*
I don’t blame you for going to the pub or for sharing some rockin’ videos.
And that map… goodness… is that for the next expansion? ;P
No it’s been there since Beta…
THERE IS NO SECRET COW LEVEL!
But there might be a secret Gnome Zone…
Thanks for the mention, my diminutive green friend!
No cow zone? What about space goat zone?
Hmmm….
Australia is THERE?
I knew you Aussies were hiding something!
Here I thought it was an island continent in the South Pacific. Goes to show how much us Americans know about geography.

Haha…I really had to look twice, because I thought it said “Fail” as well.
