   They need mages to port them to someplace other than freaking EPL. Only time that was useful was when I was mining thorium.

   Kalyon went to kill frogs in Grizzly Hills last night. Now, when Karius does this, he just hearths to Amberpine Lodge, flies over to the lake, takes care of business, and teleports back to Dalaran. Wham, bam, done in 5 mins.

   Kalyon had to fly ALL THE WAY to Grizzly Hills, and then … he still had 15 minutes left on his hearthstone, so he had to either fly back, or find something else to do. So he fished while Lil KT killed Lake Frogs.
