- You can stack consumables
- You can stack classes
- You can stack buffs
- But you can’t stack dailies.
The Log
Sure you can have up to 25 quests in your log and you can do up to 25 dailies in a day, but you can’t stack the same type of daily.
As a casual player (am I allowed to call myself that… I guess not) I don’t get to play every day. I like to pick up the dailies of interest, when I can, but just because they are in my log doesn’t mean I get to complete them, or even start them.
The Clock
I could probably manage 5-10 minutes most days, but that is barely enough time to pick the quest up.
If you already hold one of the dailies for that category, the quest giver won’t tell you that they are now holding the one you want to do, unless you drop the one in your log. If you manage to complete the old daily, then you aren’t offered the new one until the next day.
I usually get to play for an extended period one or two days a week. I dare say I am not alone in this.
The Stack
I want to be able to stack dailies.
I want to be able to add up to 5 of any category of daily to my log at once, not duplicates, just 5 different dailies of the same category.
Categories such as:
- Cooking
- Fishing
- Reputation
- Battleground
- Regular Instance
- Heroic Instance
The Chain Gang
That way, if you are like me, you will log on each day and pick up 5 dailies, for example a cooking, a fishing, a battleground, a regular and a heroic instance.
On Friday, or Saturday when I log in for my long play session, I can sign up for three instances and a couple of battlegrounds, then grind out the other dailies while I wait.
Maybe you have 4 friends or a guild that do the same, and every Tuesday night is your Heroic night, where you blow through your 5 heroic instances.
The Honorable Emblem Orgy
I figure this is a way to help those of us with time limitations beat the emblem and honor orgy that is sweeping WoW right now.
Introduced as a means for the casual player to keep up with the bleeding edge content, or allow the hardcore to level and gear their alts, the emblem changes have left me in the dust.
I just don’t have the two hours every night to grind out dailies. So my gear, honor, rep, achievements, you name it, remain in a Infinite Dragon Flight induced time warp. If you are looking for this Mage, you will find me in the Caverns of Time.
However, if I could stack the dailies, and others were too, then I could keep up easier and I think that there would be a positive effect on the instances being run. More people would have more dailies which would mean more groups for a variety of dailies every day of the week.
I want to stack my dailies!
