What else would a Horde farm have? (Apart from a George Orwell theme) … Tauren = cows, Orcs = bush pigs, Trolls = more pigs, Undead = really old junk, Blood Elves = chickens and roosters.

I think you are mistaken. Leper Gnomes are enemies to gnomes and dwarfs, can see that right in the starter area. Horde would get them.
I dont think we should get goblins though, they have always been a neutral race, and should remain so. Though I do like the little bank dood that pops for 10 mins every 30 mins. Will make great farming toons.
You alliance should get something cuddly, like Murlocs. Those critters are merely misunderstood fish-men who could give you a nice bonus to swimming and fishing. The perfect alliance toon.
Hey, maybe those kobold characters would make great alliance toons. Think about it, you could start by giving them back their candles!
Personally, I would rather see new classes rather then new races. Lets get something that will shake up PvP. Bring in the Necromancer (cloth wearing casters), Sorcerers (illusion toons), Bards (leather wearing minstrels), or Monks (cloth wearing hand 2hand fighters). Hey! How about letting us mix classes. I would love to have a Rogue/Mage or even a Hunter/Priest.
Making new races, is the easy way out.

Kobolds would have to be Horde… As an added bonus we alliance could loot candles in PvP

Green skin, look ugly, hates Dwarves and Gnomes … Nope Gnomey, I think that they would easily be Horde (and I’d roll one!).

Yes watching a Tauren punted leper gnome disintergrate would be funny, but watching the leperous taurens leg follow would be priceless

This actually sort of makes sense to me; Dwarves can pick a Dark Iron Dwarf skin when customizing their character, gnomes should have a leper gnome skin available! /nods
