It’s a rare day that more than more than one awesome thing happens, even rarer when there are three!
So I am going to share with you the 3 awesome things that made my (yester)day.
Discovery
It’s a rare day you discover a new Mage blog, Fire Mage blog, or Gnome (and Human) blog and while it isn’t so rare to find a blog written by women, how rare is it to find a blog written by a Female Gnome Fire Mage and her Female Human Fire Mage friend?
(I have rolled characters on both of their servers in the past too… one of which was my 1st Mage… the one that convinced me I wanted to play a Mage, just not of the Human variety… small world hunh!)
On top of that they are empowered!

While you generally find me only speaking of the Horde with a snarl in my voice, you will know that whenever I speak of the boys and girls at ForTheHorde I do it with a lot of affection. If I ever returned to the Horde it would be for these guys (and yes I have rolled a toon and joined with their guild.. even if they did server transfer to get away from me..)
Anyway, more impressive that Fikkles BG statistics… and did that Horde win ration make me cry…. is:

Home for the Gnome
Number 3 awesome thing to happen yesterday…
The Gnome got a Home… yep we are talking palyer housing of the physical variety.
No I am not blogging from the gutter, but I have been renting.. but soon… just after I have recovered from my New Years Eave hangover, I will be moving into my 1st owned home.
I’m super excited…
I have bought in a suburb of Melbourne named Lalor, named after Peter Lalor.. one of Australia’s very few rebels, leader of the Eureka Stockade then later Politician.. this guy changed the place of Victoria in ways that a Pyroblast couldn’t.
I’m pretty excited about that too!

Actually, that means we are neighbours… I am currently living in Res, near the cnr of Chedder West/Keon Parade/Dalton Road.
Luckily I am already in a long term relationship with the bank… well hopefully, as the repayments will be coming from them in the form of wages, then getting handed back.
Shame I can’t get them to deduct the mortgage repayments pre-tax…

I had an opportunities to buy a home, but I drank the down payment on it in the form of Johney Walker black. Then I saved enough for another down payment and lost it all on auction speculation.
I spent the formative years of my life pissing my money against a wall…
Finally sorted that problem out… nearly saved a deposit… got married instead…
So if it wasn’t for my mother… I wouldn’t be buying a shack in the outskirts of melbourne
