- Hunter’s Pets aren’t people, but they get names.
- Warlock Pets aren’t people, but they get names.
- NPCs aren’t really people, but they get names.
- Soul Shards are little bits of people… But they DON’T get names.
How do you Locks tell the difference between your prized trophy shards and your ground reagent shards?
Syrana has a piece of my soul.
I dare say she has captured a portion of a lot of people’s souls… She’s just that kind of girl.
I expect somewhere she has a piece of Sideshow’s soul. She’d have to… I can’t imagine her letting the opportunity go by.

But I just wonder how she goes when she dusts her shard cupboard.
Can she greet us all by name?
When she takes Sideshow’s shard from the cabinet and curls up with it at night, how does she know it’s his?

Syrana: WHAT! Gnomeaggedon - get out of my bed right now you dirty perverted little Gnome!
Syrana: Now which one is Sideshow… I knew I shouldn’t have let my Imp tidy my shard cupboard…

The thought of a warlock sleeping with my shard gives me the creeps. Does it make it more special if its used for a healthstone or a summoning portal?

I’m happier if it’s a summoning stone… I want to be close to my soul…
Not so sure about my soul being split up between 25 others for their consumption in a health stone…

I always thought it would be cool if it would say soul shard of “name”. Then you could walk around holding a little piece of your favorite friends, enemies, or frenemies.
Absolutely.. and keep those special ones for special purposes… Safety Dance?
All of my shards have their own special place with a little name placard. I have lots of special display cases for them.
Funny thing is, despite all the pieces of soul I collect, I can never get back the shards taken from mine…. try as I might.
Ahh Syranna… never fear… (well, never fear me, I will just iceblock out of it)… When I reduce your corpse to a pile of ashes, I will place them in a specially marked urn and send them on to your forwarding address…
