Last week was Old World night and it was pretty much a flip of the coin… AQ40 or Black Wing Lair (BWL). Thanks to Prelimar, we knew it wasn’t going to be a cake walk, so really it just came down to which we thought we could do before 1am when one of our Tanks had to log. We chose BWL because one of our crew had done it the hard way, uphill both ways in the snow back at level 60… so someone knew which corner to turn and when (more…)

Actually, I wonder if Blizzard reads any blogs.
I have to assume they do, I mean we are normal people with normal lives whose only investment is that we like to play the game.
I would expect at at least some of the hundreds, or is it thousands of Blizzard employees read more than the company policy manuals.
I wonder how I would react, and how long it would take me to recover if Ghost Crawler made a blue post on my blog (more…)

I know I bang on about it, but I want some more.
I’m messy by nature… I like to throw my clothes on the floor… the empty spaces of the floor, until there is no empty space left… then I choose another room to recarpet.
When I log on/off each Friday night, I usually only have time for a quick repair, Hi/Bye and it’s accept the summon or log off.
Every now and then I realize I am running out of space in the bank or my bags, so i do a bit of an offline inventory… work out what I can sell etc. (more…)

I know there are plenty more excellent bloggers, I know because I read them every day.
My usual blog day begins with ensuring my post is ready, checking comments and reading the Mage blogs, after that it’s on to all the other blogs. Sure there’s a priority list amongst them too. For the Horde is usually one of the 1st I visit after the Mage blogs are done and dusted, but there have been two exceptions to this rule.

I spoke a bit the other day about Envy, specifically Achievement Envy. While I was writing it I started thinking about the other 6 deadly sins, and how they played out in WoW.

Mind Control can be a dangerous thing, even in the right hands.
In the hands of the inexperienced, or worse, mischievous it can produce some unusual results.
This is a story of Real Life mind control.
The sort that occurs when you love someone unconditionally and you are prepared to do something crazy for them, no matter what others may think…

So by now you have probably read the news that Faction transfers are on the way in the forseeable future.
At first glance this is great news, I know I have muttered quietly to myself that I wish my Hunter and Druid could change faction and come and join Gnomeaggedon.
At second glance it is going to raise some issues. I will go through the good, the bad and the ugly of faction transfers in a minute, but 1st up a transcript of a discussion already happening on my mate’s forums…
