Is that the sound of scrambling I hear…

I’m not a big fan of vehicle combat… which is why I suggest the change to personal spell bars once you earn your wings… and as for the naval battles… the vehicle combat will only be a small part of it…

Think of it more as normal PvP, with the ground beneath your feet constantly moving…

Those perma docked ships are the worst… did the same at Stormwind when I wanted a sneak peak at Northrend…

Yeah… I know an all-knowing being like yourself doesn’t normally stop for directions (and neither do I), but you really got to stop and ask the ship hawkers otherwise you can waste sooo much time.

Think it’s about time they put some neon signs up pointing to the right docks for each ship…

Yeah, I think pilot stats are the key…

As for not standing still… I would feel for our stabby-stabby friends… trying to catch a Mage that doesn’t need to stand still would be nigh on impossible… though it would make for some fun play

is that ship behind you from methril harbor?

My alliance paladin is lvl 36 now.

First time I went to MH to get to the other continent for quest turn-in, I hopped on the perma-docked ship and got really upset cause it wouldn’t go.

Second time I went there, I almost went to Northrend. I had to jump off the ship and swim a pretty long way back.

… and just to be on topic… I like your idea.

I love the idea of the carpets, kinda like that quest in the storm peaks with those crazy viking women. I also love the idea being put forward on the forum Q&A that we just abolish the whole stand still and cast. Pfft, who needs to stand still, do tanks (the ones with the large 120mm cannons (not wow ones)) stay still? NO! they wreak havoc whilst moving… Hint?

i’d actually like to see some of these happen, but instead of using the mount like a pet or vehicle, its actually the pilot’s stats, and melee players have a + 3 yard range.
