I was caught out by Ragnarogue, sprung royally, four fingered hands hands in the chocolate achievement pot.
Yes, after swearing black, blue and green that I wouldn’t participate in NobleGarden.
After composing an “I won’t use Polymorph: Rabbit spell” macro, I snuck off Wednesday night and submitted my beautiful Gnomely body to the rabbit transformation and grovelled around under bushes hunting for eggs.
- I blame it on Nib(uca) for introducing the Mage patch notes section to TNB (don’t worry, won’t be any Mage news this week…)
- I blame it on Twitterfolk for talking about Cadbury chocolate eggs.
- I blame it on my (non-WoW playing) mate from Sydney that drove to Melbourne to celebrate my birthday on my singular weekly WoW Friday night.
- I blame it on my pathetic weak willed red haired blog writing avatar.
One hour I said.

Unfortunately the jig was up when I cracked the 1st egg, then when I picked up this lovely pink number.
I am almost prepared to admit I enjoyed myself, but then I had no intention of hunting for hundreds of eggs… Just 100, ohhh ok, 110 just so I can get a new poly spell and hand in the quest.
I also got myself a pet rabbit…
Actually, due to RNG fail, I got two pet rabbits. Worst part being that bunny No1 has disappeared from my pet tab, but I can’t use the 2nd one, cause I already got one (edit: got it back).
I don’t get it…
Let me hand my spare rabbit’s foot in for a pair of pants folks… It’s drafty down there…
Champion of the divorce courts!
So, as I was already facing divorce for playing on a Wednesday night, I went a step further. The clues were there, even if you aren’t a Gnomeaggedon Armory stalker…
I got my last 4 valiant tokens (with a little help from a complete stranger), and after multiple solo attempts to take down the Argent Champion…
Became an Exalted Champion in my own right!
So now I just need to grind dailies/weeklies in my case for the next 20 weeks so I can upgrade my Mechanostrider.
Maybe a couple more months so I can get my mini-strider. Not sure if I will upgrade my hippogryph… But to be completely honest, I don’t think I could be bothered chasing more champions titles.
Of course, if I am getting quest credits while doing the champion quests… Killing 2 Zombies with one lance may not be so bad.

So there the weekend ended…. or did it…
I decided that since I was helping out the Real Life children in Children’s week, I might as well help out the in-game children as well.
I am no stranger to RL charity… but I am a 1st time WoW charity giver. Once again I wasn’t after any high falutting Patron’s title, but I was out to steal the poor orphan’s pets!
I mean I obviously really don’t care too much for other people’s kids.
Their pets on the other hand…. let’s face it, turtles trump rabbits….
And Egbert trumps turtles…
The silly Orphan child even thanked me for stealing her candy pet…
So it looks like I achieved a lot in a weekend where I wasn’t going to play at all…
Anyway, hope you folks had a great weekend, and grats to Frozencubez for hitting 80 on his Mage!

hey! dornaa sent you the same letter she sent me! why that little scheming…. and here i thought i was really all that special, and that she REALLY looked up to me! i’ll bet she’s got some gig running illegal crystals from shatt to exodar, and she’s using US as the protection! all she had to do was put on the cute act and bat her little goat-eyes at us, and blammo – we’re easy marks. i’ll bet her matron is in on it, too. we need to bring this whole “children’s week” scheme DOWN. the revelation will rock azeroth!
