So how about those instance maps guys?
I finally hit “M” while in an instance, and I have to say the wait was worth it… Well maybe not such a long wait, but it is still awesome to both get an instance map and see my position and my parties position real time.
Just Awesome!
The only change I want is to include this for all those bloody caves and buildings that are scattered across the world.
Nothing more frustrating than trying to find my way out of a stinking cave, that is displayed in miniature on my minimap, but when I hit “M” I get the world map.
Anyway, Begging Gnomes can’t be choosing Gnomes.

OOOO I’ll have to check that out. I wasn’t aware of this map. I can’t find my way out of a paper bag. In Naxx I find myself wandering around in circles looking for the right wing. Sad but true.

You get instance maps these days?! I must see this for myself!
I always get lost in the murloc cave in Coldaara – a cave map would be nice.
Not only do you get a map, but the positions of my party/raid members are marked with dots colored to match their class. Very nifty.
I love the new instance maps. It was one of the things I was looking forward to *sheepish grin* but then forgot about it once the patch hit. I surprised myself when I brought up the map. I had actually double hit M… first wanting a map, but then thinking “what am I thinking, there is no map in here.”
But yes, PLEASE give us cavern maps. /sigh
@Cathy & Cassini: Yep there are instance maps, and as Arioch says, you get to see your party members to boot… now much easier to find/follow your way back to the wipe point.
And the maps are multi-paged.. so you can just flick to the relevant area.
