I know it’s a small thing, but I just love the way people are knocking up campfires around Dalaran while doing their cooking dailies… it makes it so much more convenient than heading back to the inn to cook up the latest dish before doing the delivery boy thing.

I had this funny feeling that this might be the last time I saw Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. I hadn’t read any spoilers, but I just had this twinge in the back of my brain.
Well it’s done. The cut scene was awesome… much better than the achievement alone. Worth spending a few minutes idle.

Alright, build the suspense.. we are going on a 3 man raid of Undercity… but seriously, did we have to wait for 10 minutes out the front? We weren’t waiting on the Locks to summon in the 40th raid member or anything.
If you get to this point… go see a movie then come back and do the rest… If you look carefully, even the quest helper mod thinks the king is a dick!
Never get to carry the flag in WSG… so had to grab one shot of Gnomeaggedon waving the flag.

But I can’t target the dead Horde… Is this a problem with my interface? Is something preventing me from targeting their corpses?

WoW froze for me last time I got a character through the Wrathgate chain. Had to restart it and ask the dragons to give me an instant replay. It really broke the mood.
If you can’t target them, they’ve already released.
You can’t tab-target a dead player, and when you kill them or they die, you lose your target.
So you need to click them again to re-target and then hug them before they click release.
If that’s not how things are working then it may be a UI issue?
Otherwise maybe you’re just too slow
@Kiryn: That would be a major disappointment.. glad my PC held up to get through the cut scene… thankfully Blizzard did include the replay option.
@zupa: You must at least do the Wrathgate quests… grind everything else if you want… but do that one series at least.
@Kiryn & @zupa: They haven’t released.. corpse is still there, not just bones. I am “targeting them” by clicking on them, but I am not getting the targeting “box/circle”. So I am assuming it’s one of the mryiad of mods that I am using.
@ Zupa: Yes I am slow… but I am not THAT slow!

I loved the Wrathgate questline and cut scene… can’t wait to go through it a 3rd time.
It is possible they released already by the time you try to /hug them. The body will still be there until they either spirit rez or find their way back. A lot of players release very quickly, making it a challenge at times to emote them upon their death.

Yeah.. I was flying away, and I just thought… BRK in epic battle, all seems lost, but new dawn approaches… Back turned to burning Wrathgate seemed somehow appropriate.
Doing Alliance side really made me want to roll Horde DK just so I can see Horde Wrathgate and the follow up quests… I assume there are follow up quests… do you get to raid Stormwind?
Well, yes, the corpse is still there, it doesn’t turn into bones until they get back to it and rez. If you can’t target them, they’ve already hit release. If there is still a name floating above their corpse, then they haven’t released.
You can click on them all you want, and the tooltip will say “corpse of thatguy” but that’s just for the purposes of using resurrection spells. You can’t actually target or do anything to them.
It can be quite difficult to get this achievement, because there are addons that will let you release immediately as soon as you get killed, to help you get back to your body sooner. You’ll just have to keep looking for someone who isn’t using one of those addons.
No, sadly, Horde Wrathgate line does not lead to raiding Stormwind
