Sadly, that got scrapped. It’s depressing.

I understand that from a financial point of view it makes sense for Blizzard to make the game accessible to the casual player as well as the hard core raider, but the more they take away things like attunements, class-specific quests and the like, the less sense of achievement most people will feel for actually completing them. I thought the whole point of RPG’s was to advance your toon as far as possible and make it the best that it can be. I just don’t see how grinding some gold and plopping it down to the nearest vendor can give one a sense of anything other than loss (of their hard-earned gold)!
