While there hasn’t been any active drinking game, it is not uncommon for explanations of boss tactics to become shorter and more obscure as the night progresses.

The performance of our players, unfortunately, degrades. I found this sad, and thought it worthy of an in depth analysis to construct myself a ui that would let me heal decently, even when drunk. I wrote about it on the plusheal fora:

How about “The Militarilitarily Wing”? Take a shot every time one of the Four Horsemen make a comment on your way to kill them and yell a comment back to them over vent.

Take a shot everytime someone dies on Heigan. If you are the person dying, take 2 shots and put a “dunce raid mark” over their head for the remainder of the raid.

Take a shot for every player to miss the jump to Thaddius. Take an extra shot for every player to cross polarities.

Any player caught DPSing out of a spark during Malygos takes a shot.

I’ve only played wow drunk a couple times because normally those activities are mutually exclusive, but when I did, I didn’t notice a difference. My variety of wow isn’t heavy on the fine motor skills. Now trying to play enter sandman in rock band while drunk. . .whole other problem. . .

I have it with a banana during our 5 min mid-raid break. It makes miracles for my level of attention! But then our raiding days are thursday-sunday-tuesday = work the following day…

Late friday/saturday night is different. I’ll never play drunk, but I can have a glass of wine or a drink and some snacks. Not so much that it will affect my gameplay seriously though. (At least I don’t think so :) ).

Bah I know that this probably makes me sound utterly boring. But I guess that WoW is a drug in itself, I don’t need much more than the game to relax and excape reality for a while.

Finish whatever is left in arm’s reach when:
