I was really hoping to do some fishing in Orgrimmar tonight.
I was Twittering to RuneTap and Anea this morning about how it’s the only way I can fish… it’s too boring, so I am trying to turn it into an extreme sport.
I log in to WoW and I am greeted by all my characters “Pick Me!, Pick Me!”.
But I’m a Gnome on a mission, so I select Gnomeaggedon and log in.

I’ve never fished in Iron Forge. I guess I’ll give that a shot with my Draenei Fire Mage. Where do you fish in Iron Forge? I have fished in Orgrimmar. I’ve seen a few brave Ally souls fishing in there too. II /wave at them and leave them alone. I only fish if I am watching a movie too.
Aside from going through the entire leveling process again, fishing is the other thing I’m not looking forward too.
I’m not sure why I don’t want to just finish leveling my already 60+ Ally toons. I have a 61 Draenei Fire Mage and a 63 NE Hunter, but I have no desire to play with them, heh!
Any place with water, including the little pool outside the portal spot. Highly recommend not going there though.
Best spot is in the cavern. Few people actually ride through there, but IF has got to be the worst spot to fish for Horde. At least in Ogrimmar I was able to hide behind the huts and rocks.

Thanks, I completely forgot about the pool outside the portal spot. It’s been a while since I’ve played Alliance. I’ll definitely check out the cavern. I’ve rarely been inside there.
Yes, quite a few Alliance players would hide behind the huts. I know a few Horde players would purposely go back there to see if they could find Alliance player fishing. It didn’t bother me, let them fish.
I really did like the idea of Extreme Fishing and wish I could employ it soon. But the only character that needs her fishing worked on is my very low level one, and she couldn’t make it into Orgrimmar alive – at least, not after 50 deaths or so.
Or perhaps that would take it to X-Treme Fishing levels?

Guess I better tee something up with DarkSentinel from Udder Madness – [Taurahe]: Got milk? to come and cover my butt… explain to the angry Orcs that I am an Ambassador, and come in peace bearing fishing gear…
Ah! Thanks for giving me the inspiration needed to head to Orgrimmar for the achievement … sneak in with invisibility perhaps?
@Strumpet101: back door, mount up, ride like the wind. Frost nova when dismiunted, blink, then invis.
Worst case you will have one death from guards on the way in.
Ps: crafty and achievement already in my bag!
