New WoW Storage Spaces (Redux)
Larisa was reminding me on my place in the WoW blogging community (in a nice way) in a comment to my post a short one to Kriz (which wasn’t in anyway short…).
I in turn responded that I was a bit disappointed (yet not overly surprised) at the lack of comment on the blog at a time when 20% of my all time hits occurred in 2.5 days… Well apart from spam… I have been doing lots of bulk deletes.
So while checking my blog the other day I see another comment had come through. My 1st thought was I bet it’s going to be spam.. but I was pleasantly surprised… not only I was I enjoying reading the comment… but while I was reading it, another comment came in… just as I finish reading that… another one comes in.
- All 3 comments from the same reader Quixota.
- All 3 comments too good to leave hiding away in a post that is unlikely to get read again except by completionists and those spilling over from The Druid Team.
So, without further ado, here are Quixota’s comments (with a bit of very bad editing on my part to make them look more like a post), plus a couple of thoughts of my own…
So fellow Oz(tralian) from Frostmourne write in with these suggestions…
Quixota’s 1st comment with a fewbits about mods cut from here, to be found later in this post.
Tailors make bags, and engineers make…
to add to your profession calls and storage space interests, I would like to see devilishly ingenious chests and storage trunks/ (craftable by engineers, of course!) that could hold 3, 6, 9, 12 etc things in them… like the chests we fish up or find, but addable to and from.
Jewelcrafters
from her 2nd comment.
There should also be similarly upgradeable charm bracelets for jewel-crafters to make, charm bracelet for trinkets… I really never want to have to toss all those really funny trinkets like the Brewfest Maiden, that pipe from the same boss under the mountain, and the AD pally that bubbles up and rides off after his/her minute with you!
And all those engineering trinkets!
Blacksmiths
and weapons racks from blacksmiths (and I would suggest Armor racks as well)
Make crafting worthwhile!
and stuff made by crafting prof’s should always, ALWAYS be better than loot of the same level ><
Leatherworkers
from her 3rd comment.
A coin pouch that leatherworkers could make (or another tab) that could fit in all the coins fished from the Dalaran fountain… for when you need that quotable quote at your fingertips, we have the wit and (sometimes) wisdom of the ages in there somewhere!
Out of the closet… or more to the point… shove it in the closet.
And finally (for today), a Tabard tab of the same ilk as the pet one! I don’t generally wear tabards as they’re too much hassle when playing dress-up (although that too could be fixed by defaulting to nekkidness (oh , or undies if Blizz want to be boring) when entering the dress-up function), but I would love to collect the tabards just to have a wardrobe full of them to look at, flags of our nations style.
I say let’s not forget Scribes
My thought… book shelves & scroll racks from Inscription profession.
On Kill lists
Haven’t checked to see if it’s been updated since a couple of patches ago (I had to stop using it because it (somehow) stopped me changing out of the Snowman disguise until hit or having the pvp trinket equipped to use after that patch), but Opium gives both friendly and kos functions, so you can mark both your hated your same faction “alli’s” or those sweet exceptions to the rule on the other side of the line in the sand.
She says: Thankyou very much for the opportunity to spout!
I say, come anytime… all bloggers love commenters like you!

Of course we would need a house to keep all these chests and weapon racks in *crosses fingers*
