No, but then I am glad that I didn’t find this place a week ago, and even now with a few friends evacuating due to the latest infernos I am feeling a little funny about this “art imitates life” bit of Northrend.
Still, while the cause seems to be the same (firebugs), I am glad at least that they are mythical in WoW.

Let me assure you that if Gnomeaggedon had a say in the treatment of the RL firebugs… well, they would be getting a dose of the same medicine handed out to them Proto-Drakes and their firemongering whelps.
If any of you CFA (Country Fire Authority) folk happen to be both WoW players and readers of this blog… my thoughts and thanks are with you as much, if not more, than with the other poor victims (human, flora, fauna and property) in the this year’s infernoes.
Likewise, if you happen to be one of the firefighters that jumped on the plane from the US (and I expect other countries as well…), then thanks for coming… Ohh and thanks for selling us the helicopter from the 1st photo a few years back… much better than shipping if over from the states every fire season (always seemed to get here too late).
