So last night I log in to knock of some quests and do some rep dailies.
There appeared to be some issues since the patch:
- Lag….intermittent but pretty bad
- Outfitter….broken
- Auctioneer….broken
I could have played around trying to fix the addons but decided these little annoyances don’t matter, they will be fixed in due course. I had worked out how to add an item to an outfitter set by playing a little bit.
So I decide why sit and complain about the lag and the broken addons. Use my time to something usueful and knock of the easy daily rep quests on my list.
The other night I realised the I had aligned with Oracles too early. Frenzyheart have no real rewards that have an ongoing interest ot me. I wouldn’t even bother with them as a faction past the quests within the basin accept for the achievments. Oracles have their ongoing easter egg with a possibility of picking up Reins of the Green Proto-Drake .
Wanting to knock off the achievement for both I decide its time to kill Artruis the Heartless and realign with Frenzyheart for a bit. Better to bite the bullet whilst oracles rep was low. I’ll be aligned with oracles into the future with the low drop rate for the proto-drake, plus the added bonus of be able to sell the pets.
When I got there Artruis was immune from all attacks. No one was around. Surely he will reset in a jiffy. Alas no joy.
Perhaps I can level my weapons. Sure enough Artruis is the greatest Rope-a-dope artist there is. He just takes a pounding. I expected him to strike back at any moment and squash me like a bug but he gleefully took it all.
It became apparent that he was bugged. Time to get some acheivements sorted:
- Somebody order a knuckle sandwich….tick
- Master of Arms…tick
- Polearm which was just opened to druids on the same day….400 skill…tick.
Many people came past. At the peak there was almost a dozen people leveling weapons.
He was still bugged this morning so it looks like it may be the case on other realms. I’m sure blizz are aware, but they have bigger fish to fry.
Being a 77 elite you seem to level real weapon skills super quick. Sure the last couple of points take a bit. But this fastest way I’ve found to level these skills.
Go take your frustrations out a bondage specialist and level those unused weapon skills. Just be careful with the AFK’s
