No, it isn’t.
It’s the view of the Himilaya’s from Nainital (which in itself is hillstation of the Himilayas). We went there to visit family and check out the view.
We have just returned to Jaipur after a mad dash run to Dehli for a cousin’s engagement party We have now been asked to remain in India until the end of January for the wedding… I can’t, my wife and son may). Jaipur is an amazing city, and we haven’t actually done anything yet to discover it.
It is an old walled city.. yes most of the city is enclosed in huge pink walls (for which the city is renowned). Theoretically all of Rajastan is owned by the one family.. whose line is coming to an end. The fortresses that I have only seen from a distance, the carefully laid entrance to the city (through a narrow pass with gates blocking access to the valley), the summer palace, which is in the middle of the lake, and is now half submerged after the death of the king.
Anyway, this place is amazing, and although Northrend is as far from my reach as the Himilaya’s were, I can’t wait to check that out too.
Gnomer and Out!
