Be careful what you wish for…
You may get what you want, but not what you need!
I haven’t had much of a chance to read blogs in the last few days… I think I wont get much of a chance this side of January, but it doesn’t take much to see that there are two diametrically opposed views to the current Scourge Invasion event.
You love it… bring on the Zombies, Infect Me! Infect Me! (or alternatively, Kill them, Kill them all!)
You hate it… I just want to do a AH scan in peace, drop by the bank, do the same old, same old…
I sort of sit on the fence. I can definitely appreciate the frustration of those that want to play the WoW they know and love, yet I wonder why a few days out of ones life doing something that will never be repeated is an issue.
For years now I have read the WoW forums and people have abused Blizz for not having more World events. Blizz has explained that they are difficult to create, and even more difficult to manage. So they are few and far between.
Now we have a great event, it’s awesome. it reminds me of Shaun of the Dead. It’s horror at it’s most humorous. If you haven’t seen the movie, now is an excellent time to do yourself a favor. the last scenes in particular will bring a smile to your face as you run side by side with Zombies that were previously bosom buddies.
So there are two options.
- Log out for a few days… take a break, you have earnt it.
- Get in there with the same passion that you would tackle Brewfest, Midsummer Fire Festival or Hallows End. Do ti all, see it all, take screenshots or it never happened…
Because it wont happen again!
