GoogledGnome #25
Father of the gnome mages
You looking at me?
I deny everything!
I wasn’t there that night!
I was drunk, she was drunk, it didn’t mean anything!
I think you are looking for Krizzlybear…
I mean he can tell you the whole history of the Gnomes, so my guess is it was him and the mother of all Gnome Warlocks that got up to that mischief.
Gnomer and Out!

This was another post in the continuing exploration of how people reach Armaggedons Coming via Google. As usual, plese feel free to comment or ignore

Hrmm…let’s take it to the very beginning. The Council of Tirisfal is a revered order of Mages comprised of members from the earliest incarnation of both the alliance nation of Dalaran and High Elven (before they became the Blood Elves) capital of Silvermoon. They were responsible for the protection of their people from the Burning Legion.
One of their members is a gnome named Erbag, and is the earliest written record of a gnomish mage existing in Azeroth at the time. If you will, you could consider this individual to be the “father of gnomish mages.”
But I do like to think of myself as a lover of gnomish lore, so the unofficial title of “father of gnomish mages” would be pretty cool!
Oh, and to add on that. One of the duties of the Council of Tirisfal was to appoint an individual with the title of “Guardian of Tirisfal.” Such a title was bestowed upon the individual, along with an immense power in sorcery. One such person who was given this title was none other than Medivh, the owner of the wonderful instance known as Karazhan.
Don’t thank blizzard for designing a really fun instance; thank the gnome who made the tower what it is today. The more you know!
told you it was a GoogledGnome just for you… thanks for enlightening me… and anyone else that feels the need for a little lore occasionally…
At least I know that there aren’t any paternity cases in the wind
