Well folks, I have loved our little battle of the Mages.
It all started with an offhand comment that I made.. and Gnome did the battle rage.
Fire vs. Arcane vs. Frost (and when the dead crawled back into his grave, a Gnome picked up the Popsicle).
It’s been a blast (in more ways than one), and it has given me great pleasure to see the Mage community and many more join in the joy that is a battle of pyrotechnics.
If you want a “real” analysis of Mage talents, both past and future, then Euripides at Critical QQ is doing an indepth series.. go check it out. (Fire and Arcane up now).
Thanks to everyone that has come and read, commented and hopefully been inspired to dust off their Mage Alt (I think there have been a few Mage blogs inspired by the silliness that was the Mage War).
I just wanted to end the “War” with one last observation.
PewPewLazerz left a comment on my last Ducking and Weaving – Fire post.
Any guesses what number comment this was?
Yep, that’s right… it is a 1337 comment, for a 1337 battle!
His comment:
I only have two things to say, my little fiery buddy.
Pew!
And pew!
PS: Larisa, I too miss Zupa.. I still dream of the day I face off against him in WSG.. I know I will loose the encounter.. his Frostbolts vs. my hugs… still the pleasure would be all mine.
Gnomer and Out!

I never realized it started there… I always thought the starting ignite was my open confession about my conversion from fire to arcane, which made you throw the first ball..

Anyway… yeah it’s been fun! Sometimes I wish I could be more informative and less silly. On the other hand there are other, serious mage blogs, which can provide such analyses.
Now let’s unite our forces in the confused search for a decent post-patch-spec!
Ohh you are sooo right…
O.o Post #1337! I believe I WIN!
Man, that’s pretty sick. I wonder what my 1337th comment will be.
