Dalaran.
Gnome took one last trip out to Alterac Mountains to look at Dalaran. Rumour has it that the big purple sphere won’t be there for very much longer.
I first viewed Dalaran from the eyes of my Horde toons. Big scary purple bubble surrounded by angry mobs… I dreaded the place.
Later as Gnomeaggedon, I was welcomed with open arms by it’s guardians, but that only increased my curiosity… What is waiting behind that big purple closes door.
Soon we will all discover, but until then, some last moments with the chuppa chup called Dalaran.
Onyxia
My mates dropped by the old Dragon, cleared the trash and gave me the call.
Sleeping, temporarily, and not for long.
In flight…. What? I need Frostbolts… better drag that spell from my spellbook
Sleeping, permanently.
A trinket for Stormwind… Oh what a feeling… Onyxia!
Fishing
So I managed to increase my fishing skill by 30 points… Shame that wasn’t my intention.
My intention was to raise my Gnomeregan Exiles rep by doing some quests in Darkshore. There are a couple of fishing quests (Gaffer Jacks & Electropellers) that give reasonable chunks of required rep… Or at least they would if the bloody quest items dropped.
To be fair I spent close enough to am hour after our Onyxia romp without a quest drop, until one of my mates suffering a similar fate realized we were still in the raid group, this no quest action.
After that, things didn’t get much better. Sure the items dropped, once every 20-30 casts. Still 10 items left to catch on the 2nd quest, but I just can’t drop the quest… Between the rep, and the almost-joy of actually playing the content I am being stubborn. If I am still fishing for the bloody quest items come expansion, then at least my fishing skill will be maxed out.
Gnomer and Out!

Glad that you got to get Dalaran and Onyxia in your photo albums for later. Then you can tell your great-grandgnomeren about how you saw Dalaran on Azeroth and the Great Dragon Onyxia.
I ought to take a trip out there myself to see it and cap it, before it floats up into the sky.
