I wish.. nearly everything I cast is macro'd... but unfortunately the UI is smart enough to know what spell the macro represents...

The macro doesn't disappear from my saved macros, just from the tool bar

I don't deal with them, I just manually swap around the nukes every time a respec is called for.

Spells that are universal across the specs (like frost nova, fireblast, polymorph, etc) never change.
And then I just have buttons like "main nuke", "offensive macro", "defensive macro" "major cooldown", and so forth, swapping out macros and spells accordingly.

I guess you could say it's annoying, but... I've been doing it this way for so long it's just not noticeable. And the keybinds are so ingrained, that if I ever forget, I just need to throw myself into a combat situation, and my fingers will automatically move to where the spell is supposed to be.
Then I can fix it :)

WSG was made up for arcane mages. Not only because Slow is the greatest way to stop the flag carrier, but also because AM needs LoS only for starting. After the first missile hit, he can run wherever he want to, the other 4 will hit too. (and also because enemy mages thinks of fire when see a PvE mage, so the will waste their CS on an FB, just to get nuked by AM)

About the 55 mins, yes, I seen such. However they can be completely avoided if you go with a party. Even if you go with 1-2 players to coordinate with, the fight NEVER takes longer than 20 min. Either you can win in that time, or by going AFK make the other side win.

My biggest issue is that "Blizzard" takes my talented spells when I untalent.

So Pyroblast and Blast Wave get untalented - thus I don't know the spells, thus the buttons disappear from my task bar...

I guess I just need to take a screen shot or two, so I remember what went where.

Regarding respecs, if you're not using all of your tool bars, save one for one spec and a second for the other. Place in those bars the abilities unique to that spec while the other houses your other spec's abilities. This is your main bar. Your second bar should have the abilities common of both specs.

I used to do something like this when I switched between Shadow and Holy on my first priestling.
