WoW Insider: Blizzard retracts honor point changes: honor points will not be reset
As many of you know we will be featuring a new Battleground, a dedicated world PvP zone and all new PvP items in Wrath of the Lich King. In order to make the transition from The Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King flow as smoothly as possible, all accrued honor points will be reset at the launch of the expansion. We do this to ensure select players do not have an unfair advantage at level 80 from stockpiling honor to instantly purchase the newest Wrath of the Lich King PvP rewards. For those with unspent honor points prior to the release of the expansion, we will be offering a few upgrades and special rewards in next content patch solely for purchase via the honor system.

Once again for clarity: honor points and PvP tokens will not be reset when WotLK is released. According to a post by Zarhym today, Arena points and teams will still be wiped immediately prior to Wrath’s release.
So, grind fast and spend hard.. or is that Grind hard and spend fast…
Whatever… spend your points on all those “little things”
Battleground mounts, Potions, Tabards, Banners.
The Instance Podcast had a nice bit spending your honor in Episode 121: In the Dog House.
Mind you, you do have to survive all the plugging of DogHouse Systems in this episode (yes, yes, I sure they are worth it, and I am sure there is value in saturation marketing, and I am sure that people appreciate the giveaways… but I guess coming from the perspective of someone who can’t afford the PC’s, and is incredibly unlikely to get the prizes (you have to enter right?), it was a bit tedious.)
If you can survive the advertising in this episode, and find the bit about spending you honor.. worth it.
