Guardian of Gnome’s Grove
While I am away, I have have invited a Druid to maintain my Gnome’s Grove.
Yeah, there wont be much fire being slung while I am away, so it will be a safe enough place for a Tree Druid to stomp about.
Meanwhile he can keep an eye on that nasty Akismet monster that likes to consume random comments, or not so random comments in the case of Fish… Akismet really likes seafood!
I have known THD for a fair while, originally from a work perspective, although he being from (or close enough to) FNQ, and me from the “the perfect place to make a film about the end of the world“, we don’t get to connect regularly beyond out Friday-night WoWfests (2,000km is a bit far for regular catch ups). I got him into WoW (I think), and have dragged back form other RL responsibilities to play BC… will he be pulling me back into WoLK?
So please make the Treehuggingdruid welcome when he makes his appearances… which will be really soon…
Gnomer and Out!

Hai2u Droody! Try not to shed leaves on the carpet.
I just hope this blog won’t be turned into another Druid blog. No offense about druids, but is it only I that think they kind of own the Blogosphere. There are trees everywhere.
That said: I give you a warm welcome. If you’re a friend of our dear Gnomeaggedon, you’re bound to be good.
It’s great someone’s keeping this wonderful room of entertainment open while the owner is on vacation.
Hooray for dreweds!
Dont be discouraged by Lar’s comments. Seems like she hasn’t seen the awesomeness of being a Tree, or tanking with your face, or critting it up like a chicken.
I look forward to more posts! And gnomer, be back soon, k? I might need more auctioneer advice!
@PewPew: There will be enough smoldering embers to ensure that the leaves don’t build up… Hope Dave isn’t too close to them…
@Larisa: Nothing to fear. Dave’s primarily going to ensure that the spam really is spam.. a few of my readers (eg: Fish) are particular favorites of the spam filter… don’t want them to be ignored.
That said, he does have a couple of posts in the works, not from a Hot perspective though.
Maybe we can encourage him to take a new angle on the Mage blog… experiences with Mages from a Druid’s perspective… I know the bugger grabbed a compromising screenshot of me last Friday..
@Kriz: Haven’t gone yet… but geez the time is fast approaching… So much to write… so little bandwidth (time)
oh right. when wrath comes out. ugh. gnomer i apologize again, i seem to have the flakiest moments when it comes to your blog! i always forget to have arcane intellect up whenever i stop on by, or something like that!
@Kriz: lol.. it’s the bloody Warlock influence on the blog.. spell locked and debuffed…
Yeap think of poor ol’ me on WoLK release night… I’ll be stuck on a plane heading to real temples of doom (judging by the frequency of bomb blasts at the moment) and misc pleasure… while you enjoy all things WoLK (grinding, ganking…)
I am really looking forward to hitting India (and dodging WoLK and our project’s go-live – which would have stopped me enjoying the release of WoLK anyway)
[...] I will see you on my return… but until then, be sure to delete my scheduled GoogledGnome spam, and be kind to the Guardian of Gnome’s Grove. [...]
[...] mages have a thing for druid alts, or associating with druids. Heck, even some Druids have a thing for mage alts as well, or are former mage mains themselves. [...]
