ZG is for more than seven
So we hit ZG on Friday, yep I strapped my boots back on and gave the game 5 hours of my life.
1st observation:
Empty your bags. We had to hearth to make space. All the rep and quest tokens build up before you know it.
2nd observation:
This place is made for a large crew.
A couple of the fights have dynamics that take 5 players out of action: sleep, illusions, shades etc.
The assumption being you have a whole pile more bodies to deal with the encounter – if you don’t then it can be a struggle, though not necessarily impossible.
Tome of polymorph turtle dropped for the 2nd week in a row!
Only missed one optional boss
Only did full repair twice /cry
Good time was had by all
Go try it!
Gnomer and Out!

I recently ran a Zul’Gurub group with about fifteen people and it was fun. I felt a little nostalgic going back in there. No mounts dropped, no tome — but a lot of us picked up some nifty roleplay gear.
Yeah, they organized the run for roleplay outfits.!
i actually think ZG is a lot of fun, but some of the bosses can be tricky to take down. i’ve been working towards rep with the zandalar tribe to get http://www.wowwiki.com/Zandalar_Predator%27s_Mantle just because, but now i can’t find anyone to go in with since my old guild died. i’m still too new in my new guild to feel comfortable asking around for a group, and so i haven’t gone back in in a few months. (perhaps i should just PuG it, i guess)
I must admit I wanted to loot everything… I am a sucker for a shiny item… I don’t care if it’s 10 levels below me.
I had to keep sticking my hand up and grabbing things before the enchanting monster took it away.
What was nice was we took in one of my mates level 59 alt hunter.. so he got some upgrades.. sure he will throw them away in a few levels, but at least someone got something they could really use (rather than this little black and white Magpie.. I mean Gnome)
Hazza’rah took us a while to take down.. when 5/7 sleep it is hard to dispell the illusions… but we got him in the end.
Jin’do the Hexxer stumped us… but he was the only boss not to feel the full force of my fireballs…
