So after my post about slowing down I have been posting as much as usual, until yesterday.

No post yesterday. Yes I read a few blogs, made a few comments, but otherwise nothing.

It was hard, but refreshing.

Likewise of has been nearly 4 weeks out of game which has definitely changed or maybe reinforced my perspective on WoW.

I have played 3 times immediately the last weeks, to be honest, but a different grind than Kara.

That’s raised a few things for me, the first I will show you today, and the others… Well I will leave you with a question which will be the foundation of a future post.

Side project
As it hasn’t been possible to run with my mates and with WoLK on the horizon I decided I wanted to fill some gaps. Gnomeregan Exiles’ rep is on the list, and while looking for methods of increasing it, I stumbled across the Sprite Darter quest.

I love the look of my Cenarion War Hippogryph – it’s so colorful and better looking than the other flying mounts. I already have a parrot pet Parrot Cage (Green Wing Macaw) that automatically appears when I mount. I decided it was time to do the Druid’s another favor and save the Darters… and get one myself.

There is another reason I wanted a Sprite Darter (in a pear tree), but Iw ill that up to the boys at For the Horde to explain when they get time.

I won’t go into the process of getting the Sprite Darter pet , there are clear instructions for that on wowhead, but I will show you a few shots of my two pets.

My mount macro now includes a /userandom line so it picks one of these two randomly, I will throw that up next week for the one or two of you that are interested.

Pet related…

• Sprite Darter?
• Parrot?
• Use random?
• Better pet?

When your mate says:

I thought we played so we could have a few drinks and play together.

Do you interpret that as:

• It doesn’t matter what we play, as long as we play together.
• We can play anything as long as it has badges.
• We can play anything as long as it is Kara (or ZA if we have the badges and gear from Kara).
• Other?

When I get the chance I will follow up on this question.
