A while back Graylo over at Gray Matter ran a little poll on when WoLK would be released, I threw my 2 cents in, and apparently I was correct. I should have put money on it…
November 13th.
The same day I am boarding a plane for Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India.
My friends have already planned out the LAN over the weekend 14-16th of November to start their exploration of Northrend.
Of course, I don’t mind.. actually I am quite happy with the 13th.
WoW will still be there when I get back
As Graylo says, WoW will still be there when I get back, and all being well I will be fighting less in the starting areas (I think I was a week or two away from entering Outlands when it hit the shelves, and from what mates were telling me about the insane respwan rates of the mobs, it was safer to stay in the plaguelands)
Meanwhile you guys out there have a lot of work to do, if you were taking it easy expecting nothing would change until January, they you better get out there and accomplish you last minute Outland goals.
Off to see the Prince
I on the other hand, get to relax, put my plan in action, and look forward to the Wedding I will be attending on arrival in India. I mean picked up from the airport by an Indian Prince, back to his shabbly abode, then off to the wedding of another Prince… Yeah, screw Prince Malchezaar!
Train & boat trips around beautiful India, off to the foothills of the Himalayas to visit family… you can have your Mount Hyjal!
I sense a trap!
My wife even asked last night if i wanted to stay behind and play with my mates.. I mean my WoW-widow wife asked me if I wanted to play WoW for 3 days… I sensed a trap!
WoLK will be “the same” when I get back, maybe a little less buggy, the quests will still be there, the mobs more plentiful. Sure I wont get to be Archmage… but then neither will anyone else 
Am I going to miss a once-in-a-lifetime wedding… I don’t thinks so!
So, I am not hurting at all… well maybe a little.
However, I would be hurting a lot more if the game came out on November 3rd, and there was 2 weeks I walked alone in the new WoW wastelands, Outlands.

I had a lot of guildies who were arguing with me about the release date. I confidently said, with faith in blizz, that it would be out in mid-November and I was right!! Dontcha just know I went straight to them and said… “I TOLD YA SO!!” lol.
You’re lucky, whenever I mention Wow, my fiance says”you’re playing your game again? Ugh”
I’d pick the wedding too. Wow is great and all, but there are certain life experiences you will remember forever.
Well, I dunno, maybe you hang out with princes a lot, for ME it would be a momentous occasion.
Naah, not that lucky… my wife says the same thing…. the “Do you want to stay behind” was a trap… “yeah blow $2,000 worth of airfares, don’t go on holiday with your mates, sign divorce papers here & here”
Naah not every day I rub shoulders with a Prince… but I think they might be a dime a dozen in India.. and I have met the one that is picking us up from the airport… he is a bigger dag than I am… and I don’t think it was just the Aussie Uni education.
But I am expecting the whole “groom arrives on a white horse” business, which will be better than my Indian wedding (2 weddings so far, 1 Aussie, 1 Indian), where I arrived in a silver corolla (after loosing the rest of my family) + other bells and whistles
Actually I DO believe there exist Internet cafés in India. So I expect you to at least leave us a sign of life every now and then when you’re on your great expedition…

Internet Cafe? They don’t have ATMs (apparently from my Mother-in-Law’s experience) in most of the country…
But I figure that I will be 100% focuses on India… I might leave you all something to pop up… but I am a bit hesitant to use public pcs
