When my mates & I jumped on a plane to Bali, Di was very much alive. When she arrived, unknown to us she wasn’t.

It wasn’t until we arrived at the hotel bar (no we didn’t go to reception 1st, we were already pretty much fully charged from the free booze on the plane), that we found out… although it took us a little while to work out what happened.

We were greeted by the bar staff with:
Them: “We are very sorry to hear about your Deana”
Us: “Who is Deana?”
Them: “Your Lady Deana, she has died”
At this point all I could think of was the Nick Cave & the bad seeds song “Deana”.

Finally it clicked, and we realised it was Princess Diana.

So we had a beer or 10 in her honor..

I still think the Butler did it!
