I don’t have anyone else in my family that plays WoW, but I’m headed off to college soon. Hopefully my roommate plays–of course if he’s playing on opposite faction things might not end well

I usually play at night time when my GF is sleeping behind me. She doesnt like the game and usually gets pissed if I play while she is awake (unless she is reading a book or something). Also, I do wake her up from time to time yelling at Arena. I got her to play a bit, but we only have my account and if she gets serious into it she will need her own PC and her own account.

I’m taking advantage of the trend for young adults to remain at home for a couple of years to save up money, so I’m handling the parental units and three siblings when I play. They usually leave me alone, but all four of the kids in the clan are or have been players (including the youngest, who is a member of prestigious competitive end-game raiding guild SECURITY from Arthas US). But that changes in two weeks when I move into a house with the significant other, who also plays World of Warcraft!

Also, I wrassle with my ferrets a lot when I play. I have two monsters — Gyõzõ and László (“the Bear”) — and they’re usually pretty good. Except Gyõzõ has a bad habit of biting mommy’s toes when I’m playing because he wants attention and the Bear thinks that mommy’s pants are the best place to hide in. More than one raid has broken up into gales of laughter as I started talking on Vent only to squeal when one of the two do something.

A little over 2 years ago I got my wife to sit down and start. She got hooked and would call me up at work for quest help . After she had our first son she lost the time to play and then got back in a short while before having our second son. Again, playing WOW and having an active baby and toddler in the house doesn’t work very well.

My first son sits on my lap sometimes and too grabs the mouse at bad times. When he was very young he managed to wipe a Karazan…..and yes I did blame it on him over vent

I didn’t get into the game until I got divorced … I had heard about i prior to that, but knew that I would get hooked and so I avoided it … I got divorced … and re-married it would appear. My room mate also plays, although she plays a lot less than I do.

People say play in moderation, but to me it’s kinda like telling the boss no when the entire project will fail without you … it’s hard … these people count on you to be there night after night, and many times won’t progress, or at least progress as well without you.

I play in the living room, often with my lads watching.

I’m a single dad every other week so i need to be in the ‘same space’ as my lads when they are awake. sure I have PTT on and i have my headset one earphone on and one off, but over all its all good.

My ex never understood WOW, yet she introduced me to Runescape.

It was a guy i chatted to over the internet that switched me on one night when we were having dinner and I have never looked back.

BTW all my kids have toons…they usually looose interest at level 10-15 but like to play.

On recent holidays i had my brother and my boys watching me heal kara….how bizzare

Oh I’ve got the pc standing in the middle of the living room. (Living in a small place, got no alternative.)

And I’m surrounded by my wow-hating family, often watching tv in the background. Push-to-talk is really quite necessary to spare my raid mates the sound from the tv and above all their wow-hating commentaries…

Often I play late though, when everybody else is gone to bed. For obvious resons. Playing on your own is really a blessing. A luxuary.

My Cat.
She’s worked out that by sitting on my CRT ( I have duel monitors and my 2nd is a CRT, I will pay attention to her. If that fails she trys to jump on the hardrive over both the monitors to disasterous effect on the Speakers.

She will however settle for a Lap.
