Yeah, now that I am not so tired and emotional... I put up the feedburner icon because the one associated with this template isn't feedburner... and I wanted to offer email option as well.

And when I looked at the icons. there is the "standard" one, which looks just the same as the 2 I already have (template supplied ones), or "reader-branded" icons. I wanted something that was distinctly feedburner - so, I would rather it appears I only have 1 reader and give people the option, than have an icon that doesn't give any real indication.

Guess I should be happy then... currently got about 46 rss subscribers and one (1) that reads it in e-mail version.
Actually I'm very, very proud, it's far more than I had ever imagined.

I'm at a quite different level than Matticus... (and happy about it, free from responsabilities and pressure, so I really don't complain).

Yeah I've got feedburner as well, though I don't display my readers like you do. (maybe I will one day when I've got 600 subscribers like Matticus... :)) but I was wondering about the word "listener"... ?

But it's the same then, like a reader... I guess.

Yeah fps make it even harder... PC lagging, so you reduce the detail. detail reduced, so you miss the signs.

That sign (1 Listener) is a feedburner link (rather than the normal wordpress feed).

Theoretically it's better... better presentation of the posts, and provides the option of email delivery as well as rss.

From the back end you get access to feed stats.

There is also the benefit of portability if I ever move on to a different platform (I think).

Not 100% sure about anything yet... new experiment for today.

Sometimes the DBM messages just don't fit at all with what's happening on the screen. Warnings come at the wrong time and so on. To not mess things up I finally have to ignore it (which is kind of hard, those warnings are huge by default). I wonder if that's got to do with lag?

I'm afraid I suffer severely from techincal lag as well as human (blame my age). The low fps in 25 man instances is driving me crazy sometimes. I do whatever I can pulling down video settings, not overusing mods etc... but finally you have to accept the way things are and try to ajust to it, mentally and the way you play...

Yeah.. I know you can watch out for things like the environmental effects etc.. but if you are distracted at the wrong moment... chasing a mob, watching health bars etc and unfortunately reliant on outside assistance for warnings, then you can be in real strife.
