Just a couple of things I have on my mind…
My New Pets
You know how I spoke of my new Turtle Pet, and my love for farm animals, well jagerbombz has offered up (unwittingly) a new pet for my farm… a Tauren!
So that’s a Sheep, Pig, Chicken, Turtle and now a cow.
Well it’s a post all about Gnome love, so I might as well throw back a bit of farm-animal loving….
The WoW Price is Right
If I was to ask you where you would put the price for the Tome of Polymorph: Turtle on a list representing your Auction House, where would it be… Page 200, page 10, Page 1?

OK, so it didn’t make it to position #1 on the chart.. but 2 AND 3… incredible to believe it is cheaper to buy epics and epic patterns than to buy a “novelty” spell.

I finally caught up on some back reading and see where Lhivera is suggesting his calculator will probably fall by the wayside, while Vontre’s will be the place to be seen…

Theorycrafting experiment of my own.
OK, no where near as scientific as Zupa’s analysis (Which BTW includes graphs from Vontre’s MageGraf), or I expect fairly reported as Larisa’s would be, but I accidentally did some spell testing last night while trying to complete 2 quests that had been sitting in my log for a very long time… well I will come to that, but first I ran around doing a few of the dailies at QD…
2 shotting everything…. LOL.. I love FIRE!
Unfortunately that was the end of my joy.. off to take these 2 quests down…
They were Blast the Gateway and Blood for Blood out at Throne of Kil’jaeden . Now I had forgotten why I hated and really abandonned these quests… I was soon reminded.
- Mmmm they are green… I will burn them!

- OK, trusty Arcane… AM, AM, AM, AM, OOM Dead….
- Mmmm OK, not so trusty Arcane.. AB, AB, AB, AM, Ahh killed it, err ADD, AB, AB, OOM.
- Stoopid me… Must use Frost…!
- Frostbolt (70 damage), Frostbolt (70 damage), Frostbolt (70 damage), AB, AB, AM, AM….
- Yeah, so I have comprehensively proven that Fire is better… cause it kills nearly everything faster
- And look at that frost bolt damage… my fireballs are doing 3-4,000 damage, and the frostbolt is doing 70! (no extra 0’s there).
I guess that’s what happens when you only use frostbolt in PvP as a snare, so have only got Rank 1 frostbolt. My Macro must be busted.. I will fix it… when I respec frost

Reminds me of that time I went to a raid try out my new spec… did a pyroblast and it crit for 1600.

Speaking of respecs, It looks like I am destined to be come a 2 respecs a week player now. Respeccing on friday for PvP, then back to PvE spec for mid week raiding… then back again… and again.
I just can’t handle being gimped by the wrong spec for the occasion!
Looks like you are going to be investing in the Talented Mod then.
Of course, that wont do your keybindings, or direct your fingers… but you know that if I wasn’t on the other side of the field I would be backing you up (As a couple of Hordies were last night when those bloody green-fire-eles kept tearing me apart.)
Haha, did the same thing once in botanica while sheeping. I had just been experimenting with a poly focus macro that didn’t work out, so I quickly pulled down the ordinary sheep spell from the spell book to my action bar. We were two mages in this party and I just couldn’t understand why I had to resheep over and over again, why my sheep kept breaking while the ones of the other mage lasted for ages.
I thought I was somehow cursed.
Yeah.
Curse of Stupidness.
After the run I discovered that I had been using poly rank 1 the whole run.
