I agree upon the last thing! Give some kind of engineering as a racial bonus… Mustn’t bee exactly as awesome as real engineering, but something for fun… Though I must admit that I would dread the mishaps…

So… what card should I play now to sell the idea of the benefits of the Arcane tree to you? Hm…

Arcane Subtlety

which reduces your target’s resistance to all your spells by 10 and reduces the threat caused by your Arcane spells by 40%.

I used to have this one even as a fire mage, which tells you something. The whole world seems to be full of hatred against mages – they seem to think that those innocent little cloth wearing intellactual people are somewhat. And you’ve got to do what you can to protect yourself.

Picking this talent – and putting a nice threatreducing enchant on your back – will help a lot.
