Gnomeaggedon’s 2nd installment in half-baked PvP strategies and thoughts.
I mentioned I have been playing a bit of BGs lately, so I thought I would share some of my suicide techniques with you.
Note, generally I hit the BGs in my classic Fire Raiding spec 10/48/3.. not worth changing generally, so my survivability is at best weak.
WSG:
Battle Begins.
I rush the Zerg (usually alone) in the hope of breaking their advance, slowing them down 10-20 seconds to give us the chance to pick up the flag 1st (It hurts a little inside when the enemy gets the flag 1st). Of course I die fast, but then I Rez quick to defend our flag, or hunt the EFC down, or hopefully.. to support our incoming FC.
Disrupt the Enemy base/Flag taking diversion.
I love doing this on Offense. Run into enemy base before our FC, gather up the enemy defenders, Frost Nova, Blast Wave, AE, Dragons Breath…
Ohhhh, that’s our flag carrier existing stage left… here’s a couple more AE’s to keep your attention on the pathetic green gnome.
EoTS
Rush “enemy” Ruin/Tower.
Run through the defenders that are way from their tower/ruin, into the tower/ruin (where often the healers are hiding and healing from behind LoS). Frost Nova, Blast Wave, AE, Dragons Breath… Messy, messy, messy…
Ohhh what do you know, my teammates have been picking off your distracted cow hides.
Yep it’s all suicide, unless my teammates clean up, but I love disturbing the ant’s nest.
One day I will learn to PvP and I will be dangerous.
Gnomer and Out!
